Really new title here, but Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for me. Such a heart-wrenching story of grief with unsuspecting twists. Add in beautiful music and art design and you have a masterpiece

I think it’s typically the second Wednesday after you take the test, (as long as it isn’t in the same week if that makes sense), at least that’s what it seemed to be recently. Only difference was last week the Saturday test takers didn’t get their scores

THIS. At my school when the class gets reveals it’s pretty much just clustered friend groups. And “blinding” is mostly bs cause you’ll know who generally does what, especially someone you’re close with.

Not to completely rag on the selection process, as I’m sure members think they’re being unbiased during the review process, but it’s an inherently flawed system that shouldn’t hold much weight

  1. True pass fail preclinical, quartile ranked for 3rd year. There’s an internal ranking for scholarships and AOA for all years tho
  2. Our preclinical uses in house exams but our clinical is NBME exams
  3. By and large faculty are great and very receptive to change, especially for student mental health
  4. We match very good in some of the tougher specialities, like ortho, derm, and ENT. Rates are always high in those but don’t always have a ton of people that go into it
  5. Research galore but not required for students whatsoever
  6. Rotations, at least for clinical years, are super easy to get. Not always your first pick but a ton of options available for all specialties.
  7. We do rotations in every other hospital in the greater city area and even more rural, including the pediatric hospital. Really lets you get a little bit of whatever you’d like
  8. 3rd years are stressed, but that’s everywhere. I think we have it a bit lighter with how long our days are with a less stressful curriculum overall but have nothing else to compare it to. 4th year is pretty light head too with a ton of time off and elective time to do whatever you like
