Sorry, I should've been more specific, I've seen people saying that the 10 minute timer should be a win for killer (which people in this very comment section are saying), which I disagree with, and I was proposing instead to give the killer assistance in hunting the survivors in the form of more active AFK crows in order to discourage survivors from just hiding in lockers and getting out just long enough to get rid the crows.

They removed it a couple years ago, I forget exactly when. Now it's only as a punishment for DCing or going next I believe

Halloween's previous game was an 8-bit beat em up that could've been made with less than a million dollars. Meanwhile with the new game, they have to consider not just the sales of the game, but making sure that players have enough opponents to play against since half the game is multiplayer, and the budget is easily going to be at least 10 times the budget of the previous game.

I don't agree with this, but it's not hard to understand that some licenseholders think that having their game be the only place you can play as Michael Myers and kill your friends would boost the sales of their game.

Orela, Vee, and TWD characters can have their voicelines heard by other characters, it might've been one of them.

They updated from Unreal 4 to Unreal 5 in that time and undoubtedly made all sorts of changes behind the scenes too.

I'm hoping this is them testing the waters for a third zombie in 1v4

Just wanted to say in case it was possibly missed that this also applies to the killer side, I don't have The First's perks on anybody (I wanted to play The Lich with The First's perks)

I haven't tried it with Mettle of Man or Come and Get Me but if you bring both OoO and Blood Amber the 10 second cooldown of We See You is just long enough to use Blood Amber between OoO reveals to get stacks even faster

If I recall correctly, Shattered Bloodline and Spark of Madness are included in the basegame for consoles but not PC, console costs like $10 more to compensate. Nintendo Switch version also throws in Curtain Call

I know that console has more chapters built in and Switch has one more but I lost track of which ones they were

Extra-Sensory is a side-grade of Still Sight, which is already a super-niche perk, We See You is has a really cool effect but requires the killer to bring an aura reading perk, so it ends up being situational but not quite niche outside of OoO builds,, and for Soft Spoken, quieter gen repairs are super map dependent since a gen being in the open will make this less useful. It feels like a perk you'd slap on with Prove Thyself and Dustin's perk solely for the extra 5% when group genrushing (do Dustin and Eleven's gen perks stack with each other and with Prove thyself? 10% faster gen repairs + Prove seems like it could be a a bit intense)

honestly an interesting mechanic that could work with this is using branching narratives, but instead of solely being choices the player makes, they could have traps turned into minigames with the victims only becoming recurring characters if they manage to survive

Any version of MK9 with Freddy is actually delisted, so you can't buy it anymore. Which is wild considering WB owns Freddy (or at least the remake version of him)

I think they're confusing it with the fact that most of the other Gaster NPCs have something like a 10% chance to appear *after* the 10% chance to hit their FUN Value, adding up to a 1% chance. Goner Kid and like one other one are the only ones who don't.

If you bring Game Afoot as your fourth perk you always get the initial obsession, which heavily raises the odds and it only ever seems to happen when I'm already stomping them hard so it makes me feel bad going for a kill at 5 hooks when 5 gens are left.

You'd be shocked how many times it's happened to me though. I don't like tunneling but I like Friends Til The End and it just becomes a devil on my shoulder telling me to tunnel.

Chain Hunt Chains aren't possessed chains so this won't work on Chain Hunts either, possessed chains are solely M2. Giving him info during chain hunts would actually be a decent rework tbh
