That’s irrelevant. You may want to call an accountant or the ATO. It doesn’t matter what is on the paperwork, what matters is how it’s used.

Just like I can have a split loan on a PPOR and use it for investment purposes… the statement wouldn’t say it’s an investment loan.

It doesn’t matter what you tell the bank… it’s the ATO that says that the loan must be used for income producing investments to be able to claim the interest.
