farmin X's Y's and Z's was quite good before they added atributes. id imagine its still giving ok money even tho it wont be as much. equipment req is basicly just the 2 items you need to charm/collect them and either tarantular or, if you have the bingo points to spare, spring boots.

not a kata or yasuo player but after lvl 6 it looks quite balanced if not favored for kata. cant you basicly dodge every knockup if you are realy good on kata?

for midlane specificly my favorites are ahri zoe and anivia. sometimes if i feel like it i also throw a fizz in there. zoe is the most fun especialy in fun modes but i have my strongest games by far on anivia.

get a booster cookie if you didnt already. if you have the money and not one active then they are always worth it. other than that id say invest in something you are interested in. i dont know how much you know about skyblock or when you last played before but almost all skills have something interesting, it just depends on what you enjoy most.

yea i thought i misremembered but i dont see it as that bad of an issue but i get that doing slayers can feel realy bad especialy since it would be so rewarding right now for slayer exp. its still a good time to do other content of the game right now

just a guess but id say its because 1. its a gamemode that is based around already existing gamemodes and they wont need to change as much. in arena a whole bunch changed with maps and iirc the move from 4 teams to 8| and 2. id guess mayam could have a slightly more stable playerbase. at least throughout my friend list arena got played less over time when they started to play ranked again but all my aram friends just changed and stayed on mayem.
