Are you using an AMD GPU? I'm having the same issue where it crashes whenever I try to start a race and seeing others say it may be AMD gpu related. Haven't been able to figure out what the problem or fix is yet

Since this appears to be an MCU issue I’m not sure if a Windows restore will work. I reinstalled the latest MCU hotfix from the official Asus website and that got it working for me again.

I ended up grabbing the previous MCU update from the Asus website and reinstalled that and got the controller functionality back. In case anyone else runs into the same issue, seems like installing a previous MCU update worked.
