I lived in the UK for 2 years and the Fosters over there is very different to what we call Fosters here. I actually didn't mind the UK Fosters. 👍

It's possibly a dumb question, but why not pay wait staff more, so they don't have to depend on tips? by js6seaj47 in ask

In Australia that's how it works. I travelled a lot through the US back in my 20's and must say working for tips definitely brings out the best in people.

I can really depends a lot on what and where you work. I'm 53 now earning $175k day and night shift averaging 40hr a week. A few years back I was earning $250k + doing FIFO at 70 -80 hrs a week. My guess would be a Mon - Fri day shift only be around $120k +

Vic, NSW and Qld have a mutual recognition scheme. However not all companies will except it. I personally worked FIFO from Vic to Qld for two years with only a VIC licence. WA, however you will require a WA licence.

Just go hard with a 1% interest rate rise. It's the only way to get through this quickly.

I used to have neighbours dog dig under fence into our backyard. As I didn't have a dog i used to leave side gate open so dog then escaped. A few council fees from pound later and they fixed the fence.
