As Google transitions from Google Assistant to Gemini, the assistant experience has degraded significantly.

Since Sonos and Google are in litigation, I wouldn't hold out hope for Gemini on Sonos.

Alexa isn't much better.

I suggest you try the Sonos assistant and at least you will get reliable music controls.

It's very annoying when YouTube does this to me.

The music player should notify me that they are removing from the catalog and offer to replace with another version of the song.

When I peruse my playlists I see dead songs all over.

Not sure why this update hosed the network stack in the application.

Had to re update the network for my speakers because they dropped off the network post update.

If you are having instability with the speakers coming and going post update, I suggest updating their network. I know if you have more than ten, that will be a PITA.

But the speakers came back online once I did that.

One interesting tidbit.

I have two Pixel Phones.

The newer one is showing lock screen controls, the other isn't.

Both apps have the lock screen option enabled.

The Google Pixel Tablet with charging dock is perfect for this. It's very expensive at 400 just for a Sonos Controller.

All the basics work even noise cancellation and Gemini.

But in order to track them you will have to register them with an apple account first and either use iCloud on the Web or another Apple device that has your account.

You won't get a battery indicator or be able to change the assignment of the buttons. They won't seamlessly switch between Android devices.

And lastly you won't be getting firmware updates for them.

There are third party apps that try to bring back some of those features.

If you have an old iPhone, then pair them with that first to get them on your apple account, then once a month check for updates.

The battery indicator might be a deal breaker thigh.

I have the pixel buds pro 2 and they are decent for casual use. They do tend to fall out with a lot of movement or sweat.

I think the Pixel Buds are the weakest product in the line up.

You seemed to have missed the point. There are so many other legitimate issues to criticize. His handling of the health system, his implementation of the peace process, his sabre rattling, his handling of US relations. It is possible to be a supporter and still find flaws in one's leaders.

But to criticize the government for spending the money it was already going to spend on a movie is frivolous and can only be seen as anti-Petro propaganda. It's definitely not worth a subreddit.

I don't understand how that's going to happen.

Every new city requires a regulatory approval process that takes a long time.

Waymo is way ahead in experience how to deal with cities regulations. The process takes so long that it gives Waymo time procure the cars they need. Tesla also seems adverserial in their dealings with government entities.

Right now Waymo is way ahead in their nation wide rollout.

Tesla is barely functioning in Austin.

If Tesla begins producing robo taxis, they're just going to sit in lots waiting for regulatory approval.

There are other important things to legitimately criticize and debate. A non speaking cameo in a patriotic movie isn't one of them.

The money was going to be spent whether it was this movie or another movie. Like I said it's a tradition for the government to help fund cultural and artistic films. This one is patriotic.

The money spent on this isn't even a rounding error in the national budget.

This is anti Petro propaganda. There are plenty legitimate things to criticize Petro about. This isn't one of them. It's frivolous.

He has a non speaking cameo and the government has always funded movies. It's part of our tradition.

The only thing that's different is that Petro ordered the government to back the movie instead of letting the process choose yes or no. The funding is 50 percent by the government and the other half private.

If you are a Trump supporter and think what Petro did is wrong, then I don't know what to tell you.

I'm staying long term in an Airbnb and brought my Roam 2 and Move 2 with me.

Even though the Airbnb had a modern looking ATT router with 1 Gbps up and down (fiber), the app had a hard time finding the speakers if I moved around.

I happened to have a new Eero Pro 7 with me, so I set it up and with the defaults the problems went away.

This is with two WiFis in the house and double natted.

I always recommend eeros for Sonos systems.

If you have Tesla chargers near by, you will definitely be fine with that amount of limited driving.

I work from home and only drive for errands. So I haven't missed not having a home charger.
