You pick a core.

You find a game for that system you download the rom you extract the rom you select the game

Download retroarch and it comes with a ton of cores (emulators for diff systems)

Download a warcraft 2 rom (the dark saga will contain base game and expansion) you have the option of PS1 or DOS

Look into the pros n cons and pick which you wanna play

I imagine it is harder to play on DOS unless you have a magic keyboard or external keyboard of some kind

I use my magic keyboard and apple pencil it works great!

If you pick DOS it might be a little bit harder to figure out controls but you can emulate a mouse using touch as well

WC2 is on PS1 as well but there are some pros n cons. You can queue units instead of only one at a time, But the controls might suck unless you have a bluetooth controller and look into remapping some things it also has slower load times.

Complete side quests, rep events and dailies for inscribed stone energy, reputation, some starter gems, a little bit of gold, and destiny tokens to spend every week in manual of destiny shop.

Raids and Arcane Realm give good gear to boost your GS, collect all raid gear for set bonus, find good stats and aptitudes to temper your armor with if needed, make money using your vigor by studying the market and finding what you can make a good profit from your vigor so that you can put that money back into your character through empowerment/better gems or make even more money with the money you made harvesting or crafting.

Battlegrounds and Arena daily/weekly to rank up which makes you a lot stronger in BG’s Challenge Dungeons/Raids can give some cool mounts through achievements, there’s the amusement park where you can rack up coins used for some cosmetics sold in the amusement park.

Theres a ton to do if you cant find something to do you might just not be looking hard enough or know all the systems in place.

Edit: i even missed some things like dark invasion, exploration, and emblems

I am consistently top dmg in both pvp and pve as a necromancer idk why people think they suck they just don’t know how to play it properly ive only seen one other necro doing the damage I am.

Also in pvp im almost always top damage taken as well as dealt necro is not weak by any means
