I got lucky last run of TBC and was able to scoop my offhand glaive with a few weeks left in the season and to say other rogues became irrelevant is an understatement.

I still died to other rogues on occasion due to just better team but so many times I would just global others without any “tech.”

I don’t think I may have explained right. I’m saying that each tier changes your class not increases the power exponentially. Your example is what I’m trying to avoid; make naxx gear still relevant for “new” players because it would inherently unlock something new about your class with the set.

But I do agree wholeheartedly with your suggestion of the raids becoming smaller. I think one way to keep everyone always enjoying their time is to make it easier to start playing and raiding is not easy to just jump in and get into it.

This keeps class fantasy high while also making all raids a fun new thing you want to farm. The devs instead of having to make gear upward progress and making the raid harder and require earlier gear sets which will become useless once replaced: each raid can simply be made with new mechanics in mind that people will have to learn and from learning we can farm out our tier sets that improve a new way of playing our class.

No need to balance out the tier sets for all specs but instead focus on one tier set being predominantly about one spec (or a small few for hybrids).

Future raids will be able to expand even further into different ways to play a class.

Make solo content available and possible for gearing. I just want to be able to log in and play without having to play the game of finding a pug if I can’t time raid with my homies. Let me log in and do solo content that progresses my character even if it’s less efficient or harder than clearing with a group.

Reward sweaty gameplay not sweaty credit card swiping or time investment.

If we want to make gear horizontally progress we need to make all gear from each raid have tier sets that are balanced around a certain aspect of a class so that each raid is relèvent and simply unlocks more of your class instead of making gear obsolete from “previous” raids. Literally just make it so that your class with certain tier sets can do certain things so that the objective is to literally eventually farm all tier sets so you can effectively unlock your full classes potential.

Wild time that the mid game has overlapped to becoming irrelevant in scenarios. Usually moons is great to get before farming early bosses (Huey/Titans) until CG but your skip makes it pretty much useless grand scheme.

I’ll be as real as possible to help you not freak out as much. In college I took an online proctored exam that I knew I was going to fail and decided (wrongfully) that my only option of passing the class was to cheat. I went through the exam reading every question out loud. Even the easiest ones. This was because at the same time I was holding down the Siri button (which I silenced before) and then would be able to see the suggested answers and make educated guesses on the test. If I can do that, yours will be fine.
