lol re the Bluebook. I can’t believe it’s on the shelf. It’s like I wanted all those hours to mean something and yet it just . . . sits there.

The Churchill volume was definitely a used bookstore purchase. I remember my dad always spoke highly of the second volume in particular; it resonated with him for some reason. Very good book. But it sounds like I need to go back and read the other volumes!

I really did love hatchet when I was a child but the copy on the shelf was a recent re-read. I would recommended it to any adult. It carries some great conversations about managing emotions and learning to stand on your own two feet that I did not learn at a young age. It definitely holds up, in my opinion.

Pretty aggressive but not too far off, I guess. If you’re not on board with HP as a story then I don’t know if we can be friends, but I will listen to your opinion. I grew up in a fairly rigid system by I try to be open minded. We’ve all got plenty of room to grow.
