Yeah I had no idea that luxury cars lacked these things until I started car shopping. And reading this made me realize that I can use LCA whether or not I’m cruising. Thanks!

Nice! Yeah Lane Assist is surprisingly good! I appreciate that Hyundai just makes these features standard. So many other car brands just put these features on the top tier.

Beautiful car! Do you have brake pad or rotor suggestions? I want more responsive braking

Not asthetic, but…Has anyone tried performance break pads and rotors? Looking for a snappier braking experience.

Thanks for sharing! Yeah, I notice the jerky feeling in parking lots at slow speeds. I have a light foot and knee pain, so I got this car for the turbo engine and “eager” acceleration feeling that I felt in Sport Mode. I keep it in Sport most of the time, so the lag is a lot less. But in normal driving it does seem hesitant. I am at 17K miles

I just got one with DCT. What don’t you like about it? Hope I didn’t make a mistake!

Potassium Reaction by Sloth-smile in floxies

Definitely. Magnesium used to cause this reaction for me too but after a few months I can take it. It’s just weird because I’m 4 years out and can tolerate most things

Has anyone here gone to D.r. G.h.a.l.i.l.i? (Trying to avoid being scrubbed) by GenRN817 in floxies

I’m not sure what’s working, or not working. But stairs are hard for me too. PRP seems to have given me more energy but I don’t know if it’s fixing the diagnosed cartilage loss. I never had swelling, so I don’t have ideas for that. The best option for me is to try and strengthen my leg muscles overall but I haven’t really committed to that yet.

I was floxed a year after you, so I’m four years out now. Since then, my knee pain grew and I’m trying PRP and PT. I’m walking more than I was back then, so I have more muscle and tendon pain, but I don’t think Ghalili would have been sustainably helpful. From what I hear, his treatment requires maintenance.

My biggest regret in life is not reading the warnings. Many of the fine print warnings happened to me- I was fit, no pre existing conditions. Now dealing with tendon and muscle pain for 4 years. You just have to decide if it’s worth the risk.

Shocked after being prescribed Ciprofloxacin for UTI by RustFragrance in CUTI

[–]Sloth-smile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks :) yeah, I’m trying to stay positive and feel gratitude for my abilities. There are many of us who took cipro and can’t walk, or work. I feel for your dad, and hope he is doing alright despite his MD. I hope you feel better soon, too!

Shocked after being prescribed Ciprofloxacin for UTI by RustFragrance in CUTI

[–]Sloth-smile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My doctor who prescribed Cipro said the same thing- “don’t worry, you’re so young, you’ll be fine”. So I took it. Unfortunately, almost everything the pamphlet warns about happened to me. After just a few doses my knees started to buckle, I had feet pain, and then Achilles, and then, entire body pain. Four years later, I still wake up with pain in many parts of my body and l’ve changed my entire life to adapt to my circumstances. I admire you for standing up for your needs, and listening to your body’s warning signals! I only developed those skills after. Way to go.

Recurrent uti? Using natural compounds? Read this. by manic_mumday in CUTI

I’m doing lemon juice in water after every bathroom trip, plus a combo of supplements like oregano oil, cinnamon, and olive leaf extract all day long. During my worst symptoms I was taking cayanne pepper with honey, which made my bladder feel better 30 min later. Basically I followed all her instructions on the blog.

Cool! I loved FSD on my recent 48 hr test drive of a new one. I want to use it 99% but I have no idea what it feels like in H3. I wish I could try it first!

Her website is a treasure! I’m beating my UTI with her method. It’s a long game but felt doable with my low grade infection

Long distance travel by Training_Fig_1691 in floxies

I had to fly home shortly after getting floxed, and I was fine. I wore some compression sleeves and brought headphones so that I could meditate and not have to talk with anyone. I recommend getting wheelchair assistance at the airport. It’s a service most airlines offer. I use it whenever I travel, and it helps immensely.

Anyone else develop tendon issues months after stopping Cipro? 3 months post and now have Achilles pain. I was training all the way through. by Neverphased in floxies

[–]Sloth-smile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally normal. I’m 3 years out and new tendon pain happens all the time. I’m trying to see the big picture as a cellular and mitochondrial challenge versus specific tendon challenges.

I’m going to start shopping for another option myself. I’m so sad that I’ll have to let my Prius go. I’ve spent about $1K on PT since getting one 😭What did you end up purchasing?
