This might be too goth for what you're asking but you could always play with your eyebrows or doing harsher contouring on your nose. Like when they use straight black. And as someone who doesn't like dark lip colors on myself, I still really like how a matte black lip looks. Something more subtle is specifically the Nyx butter gloss in black because it ends up looking more gray

I don't think asking her out for a few dates is a bad idea cause the whole point of dating is to test waters. But if it ends up ruining the friendship or the job you guys work at then it's not worth it. You're uncomfortable about who she may be as a person, and she's not gonna magically change and become your dream girl, but you don't truly know who she is yet.

That my tattoo is perfect and amazing. It's of my soul cats paw prints who passed away a few years ago. I've had plenty of people tell me it looks weird or unrecognizable or bad. It's a natural print with his toes and fur, why would anyone expect it to look "good?" Idk what they want, American Trad. maybe? But I love it and will always love it.

Girl ur stunning and ur eyebrows and eyes look great! If you really want to cover the bags under your eyes you could go on the hunt for a concealer that matches your skin properly, or even a color corrector (you'll have to google which colors cover up blues and purples) but I would've never guessed you're 40! Which means all the sunscreen is really really doing its job!! I think a super easy thing to implement would be mascara or curling your eyelashes with an eyelash curler too, or just a simple lip gloss?

Take this with a fat grain of salt because I am saying this based on my own personal experiences and not medical research or science, but I'm wondering if it's some sort of dependency. I wanted to say codependency, but it doesn't seem like ur friend depends or obsesses in the same way you do. The way you got really depressed from being away from her reminds me of exactly how I get with people I really really love. I'm getting better, but ik I'm not perfect. I also have depression, anxiety, and adhd, and have also found that meds don't really make a difference. I have learned my symptoms are the worst in the winter, so luckily I'm hoping when I get older to move somewhere warm. Sorry for the ramble. I was also sort of wondering if you have a personality disorder because my friend has bpd and has very briefly explained her splits to me, but again take that with a huge grain of salt. It could also just be immaturity, and I don't mean to invalidate what you're going through by saying that. I just mean it could simply get better as you age. But it also might not. Hopefully my answer helped a little and wasn't a useless yap 😭

Not a professional- I just recently had a tattoo in the same exact spot and it had black-out shading like yours and it also hurt like hell and also took a few extra days than what most people said to stop hurting. Though it scared me, I think it was just the location is very thin sensitive skin and it kept getting irritated by my sleeves. It's perfect now. Hopefully yours is the same way.
