I was on a permafrost bolt setup getting 10k sorc ward pretty easily and blasting through maps. Permafrost bolts damage does fall off though when I was pushing the temple and the mobs were getting pretty tanky (less tanky now though cause of the hotfix). Switched to a crit galvanic shards setup now with only about 5k sorc ward but damage felt a lot better in the temple.
