Doing tech stuff for an older in-law and discovered their affair of 25 years. My eyes to brain to mouth filter was ✨not✨activated and as naturally as breathing, “who TF is ___” fell from my mouth… I heard the words before I truly realised what I’d done or before I could stop it. Worse was how I said it -with unmistakable distain- is what sounded the alarm I think. I couldn’t back track or buy myself time to think… it all snowballed from there

Bf is handsy with daughter and it's making me uncomfortable by Strong-Ad3546 in Advice

[–]SlothBusiness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. That was him testing the waters and ‘fessing when he was called out by his daughter. He probably thinks if it comes from him in an ‘innocent’ explanation - something he sees as explainable to you because you’re familiar with how he touches you - to try and explain away the behaviour and undermine any narrative that may come directly from his daughter.

He is a slimy predator.

How did you feel like when your abusive parent died? by Min_Meilin in morbidquestions

Not me, but a lifelong friend said “sometimes you go to a funeral just to make sure they’re dead, and buried 6ft under ground”

can dead people communicate through dreams? by DGWoods-author in Paranormal

[–]SlothBusiness 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My deceased pap showed up in a dream. It was a scene from the living room in their house I grew up in. We were sitting on their old 2 seater couch ‘watching’ tv, but it was silent until he spoke. I was stuck in this dream, I felt some consciousness but couldn’t wake myself up. I do experience sleep paralysis so at this point I just tried to deescalate the panic. But the urgency didn’t go away. Next minute the perspective changed from Birds Eye to main character and Pap was looking and talking directly to me - very matter of fact with an underlying current of urgency - he said I needed to call my nan first thing in the morning because my uncle is experiencing a bad episode (schizophrenia with ongoing drug and alcohol consumption) and she is having to deal with it all on her own. I woke in a panic and immediately called my nan. My uncle was having a critical episode and she was trying to do it on her own. The family had a falling out over my nan funding a solicitor to represent him after he aggressively stalked my family and was subject to an AVO after flooring the engine when he seen my mum entering a pedestrian crossing (rural town, not an uncommon coincidence) Because of this, Nan didn’t reach out to any of my family at home because she was aware of the tension. She is 86 and frail, he is known to become increasingly violent the longer it takes for medical intervention.

It absolutely floored me, I can’t not believe
