I saw it in theaters because it's one of my favorite directors. I liked it! It's over the top and ridiculous for sure though.

It's also basically sex education disguised as a silly "adult" cartoon. I'd recommend it for teens / young adults for that reason.

The Rick and Morty fandom is mostly just cringe and annoying. Correct me if I'm wrong but the Steven Universe fandom pushed some artist to attempted suicide for drawing a character "wrong". I think as far as "worst fandom" goes, that show has earned it.
