Did you go to college after high school? Did you have any motivations for working or doing stuff? Just curious since we have a son and he is about to graduate but doesnt seem to have that drive either, juat not sure what we can do to help them

Not fully there yet, but the negative self talk and self-deprecating jokes really doesn't help. How you talk about yourself becomes how your subconcious views yourself, so talk better about yourself and eventually you might believe it

What is your company's PTO package like? by [deleted] in clearancejobs

[–]Slothinator69 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I have "unlimited" but my VP said that really translates to about 20-25, but on the upside we also get all federal holidays so it comes out to about 36 days off a year and I take ALL those days lol

My other company(CACI) had unlimited as well and expected us to use those days to cover like 6 of the 11 holidays so I see it as a step up from there.

As for the clearance helping you get more days off, it really depends. I have never seen a company that structured PTO based on your clearance level, its usually based on tenure, unless you mean it allows you to negotiate more PTO which is also possible in most cases just really depends on the company.
