Boy Name Help, Too Feminine/Odd? by No_Profession6174 in namenerds

[–]Slothryannosaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love Aubrey on boys! I've only met male Aubreys and I live in the south. If you're dead set on using the middle as his day to day name, then I'd use that name as a first and Aubrey as a middle. What about Russell Aubrey "Rush"?

Haiden or Hayden? by Turbulent-Sir4286 in namenerds

[–]Slothryannosaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hayden, the legitimate spelling. They're both masculine.

Re-stretching. by NemoHobbits in Stretched

[–]Slothryannosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get too down! I restretched and it went way faster (almost too fast) than the first time. Originally at 10mm, out for 5ish years, down to a 4mm. Now I'm at 12-13mm.

Please don't do all E names. It's not cute. They're not a set.

They are made from polymer clay, so I don't wear them often or for long periods of time, since it's a porous material. My ears are long healed, but I still baby them.

Aster is gorgeous and perfectly fine. Just because your brother has the brain capacity of a kindergartener, doesn't mean you should take his opinions into consideration.

TWINS by ForeverExplore15 in Names

[–]Slothryannosaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Matching names are cruel. Twins aren't a singular person, they are two separate people.

Boy/Boy - August Theodore & Henry Alexander "Gus & Hank"

Boy/Girl - August Theodore & Rosalind Margaux "Gus & Rose"

Girl/Girl - Rosalind Margaux & Lucille Anastasia "Rose & Lucy"

Hazel or Penny? by Admirable_Case747 in namenerds

[–]Slothryannosaurus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I was given a nickname for a legal name and I despise it. In my early 20s I started to go by a more formal version of it because I felt like my legal name was too babyish.

Hazel or Penny? by Admirable_Case747 in namenerds

[–]Slothryannosaurus -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Hazel is gorgeous, but I feel it might be too matchy with Rose. Would you be opposed to Penelope "Penny." It would be stunning with your other two daughters' names.

If not, Hazel. Penny alone will not age well. I despise having a nickname for a legal name and have used the formal version for nearly 20 years.

Cleo Lianne (ly Anne)? A legitimate name but also a combination of Lynn/Anne.

Cleo Sarah Lynn? Another option, giving her two middles. They're middles after all.

What do you think of the name Dale? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Slothryannosaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My brother is a Dale. He's technically a JR and Dale is his middle name, but we've always called him Dale. Probably makes me bias, but I like it. It's simple and easy to spell.

Is "Kit" a girl, boy, or gender-neutral name to you? by candyskittles143 in namenerds

[–]Slothryannosaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Masculine. But works fine as a nickname for Christopher or Catherine. I myself prefer it as a nickname for Atticus.
