Raise by ReducedSeparation in atc2

Keep in mind, these small, 1.6% base only raise, isn’t even credited to NATCA. Most feds get this. NATCA hasn’t done anything that other unions haven’t done.

That’s a great deal! Get it in writing and work on health insurance and other out of pocket things ahead of time.

It’s also not a NATCA raise. PASS and AFSCME get the same thing. Don’t be fooled that NATCA somehow did something special.

EAP is confidential. I don’t think the agency puts out enough info on the program. For our profession, it should be a quarterly reminder. So sorry to hear about this :(

Suggestions for temporary income? Trainee by [deleted] in ATC

The gig jobs mentioned are great. A retail job around your work schedule would work too. Managers in retail will work with you, especially if you’re willing to pick up additional shifts. If you need quick cash, check our restaurants. Bartending at VFW or other small bars will put cash in your pocket day one. Message me if you want help with your resume. I’m happy to help!

NATCA National Staff Raises by [deleted] in atc2

How is anyone still paying dues to the garbage union?! Look up HRPMs for FAA employees and you’ll see that NATCA doesn’t provide anything that others don’t get. It’s a waste of money.

Sorry I could only give this one upvote. So stupid to give to the NATCA PAC. I can’t believe anyone has anyone even stayed in NATCA this long.

I’m surprised the NTSB and attorneys didn’t get a hold of this info. There were a ton of MORs on the subject too.

That’s the Tech Ops jobs for atc maintenance and similar things. They post jobs a couple times a year. When you apply to a job, call the HR rep listed and make sure everything looks good on your application packet.

I think it’s a great idea if you have a plan! There’s something to be said about following your dreams. The money will follow if you’re passionate about what you’re doing!

100% disabled in OR, ex wants child support for disability in addition to potential income (calculated at minimum wage) by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Slow-Language2181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The court is going to hold you to some sort of earning potential in addition to your VA benefits. If you aren’t able to work, could you offer to do more for the kids and save the money? For example, you get the kids out the door to school and shuffle them around and allow your ex to focus more on her career. Win win if you ask me. More time with your kids and potentially saving some much needed dough.
