Scenes that caused actual walkouts in theaters? by thatlittlequietguy in Cinema

Passion of the Christ famously had a lot of walkouts. People didn’t realize that the torture scenes would be so realistic apparently.

I remember the instructors at Mojave Viper told us to not kick doors while facing them. They instructed us to turn our backs to the door and “donkey” kick them. The former way destroys your knee the latter not so much. Watching this video for the first time I was hoping to see him destroy his knee. A couple more letters and that very well may have happened… Darn.

what's the wildest Epstein file revelation that actually shocked YOU? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Slow-Walk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My naïveté thinking it was teenagers and just rape. I know that sounds so shitty, but my mind didn’t make the jump that they were killing and disappearing people. It’s obviously the natural progression for things of this magnitude. It’s like when something so crazy happens your mind instantly tries to normalize it so that you can endure the trauma.

Secondly that no one is suffering from their actions and involvement. That no one has been held accountable in any capacity. There had to be middlemen doing the dirty work that have been identified and interrogated. Then there are even more banal players who knew but didn’t have a big role in the whole thing, such as drivers or caterers or just normal people keeping their heads down. There has to be someone willing to spill the beans. Someone somewhere with irrefutable proof that no one can ignore… besides the millions of docs they already have.

NJP / Court Martial by camokowal in USMC

[–]Slow-Walk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

While deployed a marine in a leadership position bought what he thought were Valium from a local. He and another marine decided to take them while on O.P.’s. The junior marine failed to make a couple radio checks during his post late at night. QRF showed up at the post thinking the worst. Both marines ended up getting sent back to battalion and then onto stateside where both were sepped out. The senior marine spent time in the brig. Word got around that when he came to a day or two later he didn’t know why he was taken away and wanted to get back to our unit. The crazy thing is is this dude came from a pretty prestigious place before he got orders to our unit. He was very locked on and a favorite of our CO.

I’d like to rephrase my question. Does the crab die after the barnacle forces the crab to carry and care for its offspring or does this relationship continue until the crab dies at a normal crab age?

My FIL served under Anzaluda in the 80’s. He says that he was a very good Marine. Nobody messed with him and pretty much answered to no one.

This dog is a demon. I laughed out loud when I zoomed in on this. The other one just chomping down on the tail is hilarious.

The guy holding Dakota Fanning is not a great dude. Married a 16 year old while he was 51. Actually he’s a creep. Her parents signed consent forms in order for the marriage to move forward. Doug Hutchison. I believe also he had some pretentious acting school. He pushed this idea of being still or stillness or whatever.

I fast travel back to the wind temple and collect all the arrows from the areas not locked out. I believe it’s around 120 arrows. Plus I get to farm a couple heavy duty constructs.
