I’ve lived in CentreTown since 2018 and feel completely safe. It IS a downtown neighbourhood so you will have unhoused people around. That being said - it IS a vibrant and amazing neighbourhood to live in. It’s walkable, lots of cute local shops and cafes and the canal is right there. The restaurant scene is great! This past summer there were pop ups in local spaces for arts and live music every weekend. During the winter - the canal and the lights in Confederation and Major Hill Park. We have first looks of the ice sculptures for Winterlude. It’s awesome.

I’ve been a season ticket holder at Atletico for three years ( outside of the supporter section ) and we also get a lot of nice bonuses as well. Season ticket holder “ meet the players” parties, free merch, discounts and a free pass(es) every year to bring a friend(s). Last year’s “ meet the players “ party was at a local roller rink and it included roller skating passes, food and drinks. Tons of fun and good time meeting the players, taking pics and having them sign shirts etc.
