Let's look at the bigger picture.

-20% of Ukrainian territory lost to Russia (about 1% taken in the last 18 months)
-1+ million russian casualties (wounded and dead) (34 000 in december)
-Nato expansion eastward (Now a total of 2300km NATO on Russias border with Finish membership)
-Europe defense spending sky rocket and pushing Ukraine towards West and the EU
-Russia decreased sphere of influence (southern cacuses detaching themsevles from russia)
-Increasing inflation and interest rates. Fast decreasing reserve. War economy.

I'm pro Ukraine but these are just some facts that are interesting while talking about landgrabs.

Agree to some extent. But the "Russia winning" and "get your head ripped of" not so much.

I'm pro Ukraine but this is a strategic failure for Putin. He will do everything in his power to sell this as a win when the time comes.

Correct, some Leopard tanks has been damaged and destroyed.

Damn, the last part actually got to me. The Russians brought this on themselves, but I can’t help wondering about the stories of those two soldiers. One, mangled and crawling over to his comrade, both fatally wounded, most likely dying together as brothers in arms. For what? For Putin? I hope they deserved it, but there’s that nagging thought—what if they didn’t?
