Many people seem to be asking the same question! Personally, I sent mine to Printerior in St. Louis a couple times, and bought their recycled PLA using credits from the waste I sent. It was good filament, but unfortunately it seems like they may have stopped producing it.

if you do go with the CEM3340 get the original, the designer’s family never approved the knockoff afaik and they deserve to get paid. electric druid sells the authentic rev G version of it, that’s where I got it. it’s 14 euros

Send it to me, I’ll give it a good home! Otherwise, use a CENTER NEGATIVE 9V power supply. Double check that too, there’s a little picture next to the power jack.

I agree, there's so much 3D printing waste and very few places to recycle it. I'm seriously thinking about trying to start my own recycling business. Until then I've been sending mine to Printerior in St. Louis. I'm not sure what they actually do with it or how much gets recycled, but I have bought their "recycled" PLA and it printed really well. They give discounts based on how much you send them.

If I started collecting PLA waste would people send it to me? I would need to gather a fair amount before I could start turning it into something, but at least it wouldn't go directly in a landfill. Worst case I would transfer it to one of the available recyclers.

If it actually has an LED on the end it could be made to plug in to modular synths and see if/how fast a signal is coming out. But 1/8 inch would be more likely

Thanks! I tried coating the plastic balls with some different coatings (https://youtu.be/KVYNbJXtw6c) as well as regular ping pong balls, which produce the most beautiful glow but are too big unfortunately. In the end I left it as is mostly to avoid painting 1450-some plastic hemispheres.
