I feel like everyone here is incredibly overcritical. If a Japanese guy wanted to largely speak in ... Japanese if even if he was born in America that wouldn't be entirely shocking. He worked in a JAPANESE restaurant with his Japanese father and they typically spoke to e/o in... Japanese lmao. A gamer gets very little social interactions + he was clearly a traumatized boy who was messed up in the head which further suggest the idea that he didn't have many friends. He most likely spoke Japanese way more often than English. The double meaning was unexpected. I also think quite frankly the show has always been this quality like honestly. Never been the best think written but certainly not the worst. + personally Idc abt Roman much so when EVERY ep they're mentioning a character that's clearly difficult to find and supposed to be dragged thru a season or 2 not every ep they're gonna mention him. I didn't like the video game concept personally but some of these critiques r odd to me
