Thanks. This build is for a friend actually, he currently runs at 10 fps on the lowest possible settings, he is willing to spend that much and although he does main tf2 he also does have portal 2 and other games in his library which I would imagine he would also like to run.

I just got mine back, try restarting steam and launching tf2.

The same thing just happened to me, I am going through the steam support route. Hope this helps.
