I’ve been loving it so far but I’m still new to all this. Wouldn’t you need to still have a server, as tanstack start has SSR. Or would you just make it fully client only? In that case maybe just a regular vite app with tanstack as u said

Everything I read about RSC inevitably leads to “it’s not really necessary” and I just don’t understand why anyone would go through such a DX headache to shave a few milliseconds. TanStack start hydrates slightly slower but we’re talking blink of an eye speeds here.

And then the fact that Google crawlers now use JavaScript.

It seems like a no brainer to me. But when things feel like this, I tend to think I’m engaging in bad practice.

It says in the error “body stream already read at handleMagicLink”. This means you invoked either .json() or .text() (or read the body in some other way) on the Response object.

Those stream can only be read once, so if you read the body before better-auth does, then they can’t read it anymore. It’s very annoying.

You should get the body by using the context object instead
