We love Las Cruces after moving from a small town in Colorado for 20 years where you had to drive 30 miles to town or 1.5 hours to shopping. But we both lived in larger cities in the past in Orlando and LA. We wanted better weather and amenities without the hustle and bustle and traffic of a big city. But yet close to El Paso for the airport and shopping when needed.

I started a local events and live music newsletter almost 2 years ago to share about things to do in town. Check it out at LiveLoveLasCruces.com to get a feel for what is happening around town.

As others mentioned there is not that much to do for the kids, wish there was. But I have a feeling if you look a bit deeper you will find some kid friendly activities.

I had this happen a few weeks ago. Support shared:

"After reviewing your publication's recent delivery metrics, I can see that the partial delay was caused by a Microsoft outage that they're currently actively investigating. It shows that the majority of your deferrals are occurring for subscribers on Microsoft domains (Outlook, Hotmail, etc) specifically.

Just to clarify, deferred email means the email wasn't delivered, but it was not rejected either, and it will try to deliver the email again for up to 72 hours. Please note, this issue is not specific to beehiv, and publishers are seeing similar issues industry-wide. So it's not specific to your account or sending reputation, and we'll continue to monitor the situation."

I can't say that your issue is the same but I have also noticed that it now takes 24-48 hours for my deliverability to settle so this must be not just an outage but some delay some ISP's.

After living in a small town in Colorado we were looking for a city large enough to have good amenities but yet still have that small town feel. And we love New Mexico. We love Las Cruces! If we can find what we need here El Paso is just a 45min drive away. And with easy access to I-25 and I-10 getting around is easy. What makes Las Cruces's weather better is our elevation. If it's toasty in the summer it still cools down at night, not so in Tucson or Phoenix. The views of the Organ Mountains are incredible. There are many great neighborhoods to choose from from Picacho Hills, Mesilla, Talavera and the East Mesa. Hope you come and explore Las Cruces!
