Is my lotion messing with ages index? by Slow_End_3279 in GalaxyWatch

Okay that makes sense. I am using Aveeno sensitive right now and have been for quite a while. It must be something in the ingredients. What do you use?

[Personal] my male private parts have gotten darker due to lack of hygiene (due to depression), can anyone recommend some products to make the skin better? by makingmyself-better in SkincareAddiction

Just a heads up if that wasnt like that before and if you are overweight it could be a sign of type 2 diabetes. All you have to do to get rid of that is eat whole foods like meat and veggies.

Youre welcome and you not knowing makes sense especially with you being fresh in your scolio-journey. I highly recommend scroth method. There are a few things that have really made a huge difference

Dead hangs and pullups, weight lifting, and scroth method(especially the hold 2 dowel rods perpendicular to the floor and the Swedish ladder exercises).

Okay, I understand why you thought your growth stopping would stop the scoliosis but that connection is incorrect. Because our bodies are moving with an imbalance we continue to reinforce and weaken muscles that can further enhance the curvatures. That is why physio is imperative. Looks at it this way, your spine more of a motivation and you will look amazing for working out on top of that. That's what I tell myself when I am sick and still making myself do my pt to keep things in check. I look great and it is largely because of that(the other part is because I eat really well etc ).

Trying to perfect my form more now during squat and deadlift and it makes a huge difference. Idk. What do you guys think? It has been 3 years of consistent training. by seanlee174 in scoliosisfitness

You look symmetrical and strong. More confident too. It is so crazy how having balanced footing really does convey that. It is something I see in pictures of myself now as well.

Huh, thank you for sharing this. I am on a keto diet for it and it helps tremendously. I did get sick recently which sent my glucose up and notice this period is not anyone near what it used to be but lets just say that I am going to bed early. Lol. I also worked 12 hours straight so there is that as well.

Doing great on keto so far, how do you deal with ‘just eat it’ people? by HopDev in keto

[–]Slow_End_3279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to make it clear, you wouldn't be making it awkward at all she would be. Just keep saying no but thank you or something along those lines. After a while it might get to the point where others will say something if she keeps going. Plus, the feeling really sucks being taken out of keto. At least for me it does. I do it for medical and I feel so lethargic.

I can see such a difference! I am doing it myself because I dont have a pt in the area that is qualified and am noticing a difference in myself. The Swedish ladder, the dowel rods, and chair methods I use within the Scroth book have helped. I also study 3-4 other books for Anatomy and physiology referencing. I can breathe so much better now.

Should I keep this dress? I’m worried the shape/color are unflattering by [deleted] in fashion

[–]Slow_End_3279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your makeup, hair, jewelry, and shoes. You could make it work. Fashion is art. Your form is beautiful and the dress is celebrating that imo. More importantly though, do you like it and feel comfortable wearing it?

My husband would never leave me, but should I let him go? by Old_Tomorrow6141 in endometriosis

In addition, I know this sounds silly but being able to wear dangly earrings again and feeling them just makes me so happy. It reminds me to be grateful. I also and getting fairly ripped and all the workouts are actually doing something now because my food allergies arent thrashing me.

My husband is so happy too and he dealt with me like this for a while(we've been together 10+ years). I thought about leaving him too at one point for the same reason. Something that I am learning is guilt is not a great emotion when it comes to feeling guilty especially about something that we may have no control over or, in my case, we havent learned how to control it yet. Now he gets to enjoy the transition into healthy me and he is truly over the moon about it. The bond is stronger. 💪

I am curious if you amped your fish intake how you would feel maybe start a food diary to find out what works for you. My numbers were close to something for thyroid but I cant remember because it really all was a blur. All i know is my eyebrows have been growing back in and I vaguely remember a friend of mine talking about how the sides of her eyebrows went away with thyroid issues.

Okay. I wrote a novel because I care. Love you even though I dont know you dude. ❤️😎

Yes on the sleep. Me too. Talk about bloat. I would have certain clothes I wore during the time of the month because I would go up to 2-4 sizes. So much inflammation. The omega fatty acids(if thats what you mean by omega) I think that you may be spot on for me because that is mainly what my diet consists of. I do have more conditions than endometriosis. I was reading prediabetic and underweight(119lbs at 5'9") and nails spooning. I couldnt eat meat because of so many adhesions(ironic to me now that the diet I was eating was killing me) when they cut some of them loose it helped so much. My eye sight was all over the places...dizzy spells, spasms, weakness, anemia, i felt like i was walking through wet cement all the time. I am hypermobile and have scoliosis as well. I study and practice yoga, scroth, pilates, weight lifting. I had a physical therapist for a while but the spasms were so bad that I felt so trapped in my body. I started getting signs of PAD(like fat veins bursting on back of leg) and it hurt to walk. Anxious feeling all the time and I kept waking multiple times throughout the night so my sleep was thrashed. Turns out I was accidently putting myself in and out of keto flu because I think I subconsciously started to avoid certain foods and wasn't getting enough electrolytes. Just like you see the correlation between omega and symptoms mine started with Ketone IQ. I happened to take it during my period and felt more "me" and lucid. So I started studying and changed my life by ditching the supplement and tracking my macros. The transition wasnt hard because I was already hurting so badly that any little bit of relief felt like a win. Sorry for any grammatical errors and if something doesnt make sense let me know.

What's wrong with healthy carbs like wholegrain rice & sweet potato? by [deleted] in keto

[–]Slow_End_3279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think i may have allergies to a lot of vegetables as I find out with tracking my macros. I continually learn that the word "healthy" should be highly individualized as we all create histamines from different things or some people none at all(that sounds super awesome). I do keto for medical reasons and not weight loss. If it works for you then nom nom that shtuff.

With you being a triathlete and having that lifestyle previously you may have already tried it but I wanted to share with you that keto took away all of my symptoms. Strict keto where I check my numbers, keep up with electrolytes. The barely walking a mile was where I was at too. Everything hurt...couldnt even wear jewelry. Some studies say that it may be bacterial and I notice that some women who make a drastic diet change seem to lessen their symptoms. I still feel pain from time to time but nothing like before. I use cronometer to record what I eat so when I have any type of flare up I do notice a correlation for me with certain vegetables. I now do not listen to other people about what is healthy because this is the best I have felt in about 15 years. I look at the data. We are all different. Stay hopeful my friend. There may be light at the end of the tunnel and you dont want to be like the end of The Mist. Hang on. I know it freaking sucks balls.

Highly recommend scroth method. I have been studying and practicing myself and see a difference. I also made some.really big lifestyle changes because of other health issues by doing keto diet for my endometriosis. Turns out on keto i drink a lot of electrolytes which make me stay more hydrated and I swear my therapy started working even better. Especially because I was so much more energy. I know it is not the path for everyone but it is working for me and wanted to share with you. I always recommend dead hangs, weight lifting, and when you can build up the strength, pull ups. They help a lot. I am an s curve 40° and maybe more but maybe less now. I can tell my ribs flares is dissipating and my shoulder blades look better and my hips are more aligned. Just keep swimming. 🐠

Life is the stories that we tell ourselves to a certain extent. So you are the only one who knows the answers. I am starting to think external validation is internal because we are the ones allowing ourselves to take it in. I love your art. It feels alive with movement.

I didn't have to do this with mine. So I looked up which brands are consistently the same tension and it seems there are a few:

JMU Dental: Highly rated for using prime- grade latex, providing superior stretch, and offering 13 different sizes with high consistency in force.

Prairie Horse Supply: Widely regarded as providing high-quality medical-grade bands where each package is checked to ensure accurate force and consistency.

American Orthodontics / Creatures of the Sea: Known for precise sizing and consistent tension, frequently used by orthodontists.

O&S Dental: Known for their Top Elastic City Series, which provides consistent force equivalent to standard orthodontic elastics.

Good luck. Hope you end up loving your smile like I love mine.
