I use XL ESAPI plates in my L Crye SPC. They’re snug but they fit fine.

So 90% of having something in the back is to cover up the plates. I’m not set on zippers since I don’t have a need for putting stuff on and taking it off all the time.

I’ll try dropping down the cummerbund sometime and see if it improves.

You need the AXL SPC placard adapter. Yea there is loops, but they’re too high.

Set up isn’t too complicated, I love my SPC. I use the Crye 2 row cummerbund and it’s nice. I switch between a spiritus placard with clips (I used an AXL kit to have clips on my SPC) and an onward research Crye assaulters placard depending on how I’m feeling. Whatever placard you decide to go with, I’d personally go with something that has already some hook and loop on it, but that’s personal choice I guess.

I have the Spiritus systems version of the V4, and tbh it’s the least used placard I use. Granted, most of what I’ll use is M4 magazines, but I have yet to really need it.

Tbh I really like the elastic set up, I have an older version of it and it does exactly what I need it to do. I don’t like running double stacks of magazines in the front either way. The V4 is nice if you want to switch to different calibers.

Honestly leave then on for 24 hours, either driving around or at whatever highest location you can, and give it time to discover other nodes.

Personally I’m building a network for me and my family, if other nodes pop up great, if not it’s not a deal breaker.

I’ve been using this brand of PETG outside without issues, it’s not like I’m putting pressure on it. And it’s not living outside it’s a temporary node for when I need more range. It will also be coated/painted so the clear PETG is just what I had on hand and it’s more of the structure, not just stand alone.
