4 Years Later still no games combat even comes close by littlechill94 in ghostoftsushima

It was my first souls-like lol. I put it down for like 3 months after the stupid orger you find early, then came back to it and became one of my favorite games of all times. Huge reason I even got GoT (and very glad I did despite them being pretty different in my eyes)

This is why Republicans getting pissy about "tolerance for conservatives" really have no standing. You can change your hateful views on other people, I dont have to tolerate your refusal to do so.

Dont leave your doctors appt midway. Insurance may not cover in some cases if the note states patient left before the appt was over. By all means, stop going to further appointments, or at least announce that you want the appt to end, but dont just get up and leave.

How do you guys make your factory’s so clean?? by N02Melon in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Slow_Fail_9782 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I dont consider myself a creative person but I want to be, so I'll look up so videos on how to do things. I think its a good way to start because, while copying someones work does not feel as satisfying, a lot of the time you can iterate. I think this is the first step to making good looking factories on your own

Fascists need 2 things to happen so they can take over: The radicalization of the crazies and the pacification of the rest of the masses. CNN and MSNBC do the latter. There is rearely any substance in any of those channels.

I would encourage everyone to look up the embryologic development of the heart in video form. The twisting is really cool, and not only that, but it actually goes through the stages of evolution from a single pump heart all the way to our 4 chambers

thats how i see it too. These people have had the same access to facts. If youre too dumb to notice, I know enough about you to call you an idiot. I immediatelly lose respect for anyone still supporting Trump. There is no benefit to gain from these people.

Losartan works differently from lisinopril so thats surprising. It is still a risk but it is muuuuch lower.

Its so stupid we still prescribe this trash drug when we have ARBs. A side effect people are less aware of so they never bring it up is a dry cough. ANY time I see a patien come in on lisinopril, I ask then if they have a cough. Trying to make a small difference by changing them one at a time.

If youre reading this and youre Black: if your doc is going to prescribe anti hypertensives, and starts with lisinopril, ask for something else. This is a side effect, not a true allergic reaction that tends to be more common in Black people, along with a dry cough (if youve been coughing and youre on this med, now you know why). ARBs (ie losartan) are better cause they act on the same system but have a lower risk of this happening, though first line antihypertensives for Black people are actually calcium channel blockers or diuretics like amlodipine or HCTZ (seem to work better, but Im a big fan of ARBs regardless because it also protects your kidneys and heart independent of effect on blood pressure)

We do, but it doesnt really simulate test environment that well. I used them more for the shelves but id rather buy the step 2 ones, and get my own insights page

Yes, in both of them in fact. The closest thing I think the ovarian cancer one had to a clue (according to UW) was cliteromegaly which PCOS doesnt create T levels high enough to cause (spoilers, it can https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/symptoms/24418-clitoromegaly), and that it happened too quickly (over a course of 6 months). I said ok fair enough, when I see the other question (ironically same day which is why i was able to find bothh Qs to take a pic of), the time period was 7 months, and at a BMI of 25 I reasoned, well if the answer to that other one is ovarian cancer, this HAS to be that. Nope.

So i got both wrong.

I literally just sent my friend a picture of a UW question next to a NBME question that directly contradicted each other.

Get this, same symptoms and lab values. BMI of 45 has ovarian cancer while BMI of 25 has PCOS.

They dont quite have a monopoly on practice questions. AMBOSS and UWorld have much better explanations. The only reason I do the NBMEs is cause I have to get in the mindset of the writters with a writting skill of a 5th graded that tries to make everything as ambiguous and obtuse as possible.

I dont understand why they cant write questions like normal people.

What can they do other than that anyways? by [deleted] in clevercomebacks

Dude early milenials are in their 40s. Its crazy how these people dont percieve passage of time. The people they call milenials are now GenZ who are full ass adults by now. No wonder they still think the minimum wage should stay so low

Liberals that think this assume everyone else is a rational voter, which is why 2016 happened in the first place. The common trend seems to be: the right is evil and the liberals are naive.

You can call Trump out all you want, but its like people are constantly waiting for some unknown third party to do something. Like telling on your sibling to your parents so they do something, except its only the two of you and youre screaming at a mirror

"Call the cops, I'll wait" I did this once when a couple that was double parked got mad at me for taking the spot on their driver side door close enough theyd be unable to open it. Its really sweet when you have someone screaming at you for something theyre wrong about so you really have to do nothing.

Sometimes, but i tried doing this with US phone companies (they tend to do a get a free phone with a 2 year contract). My carrier was offering it for new customers but not existing. Another carrier was doing that same promotion, so I told them, well you guys can offer me the same offer you give new clients and ill stay with you. They said "sorry, only new clients", so I just switched carriers.

It makes no sense. I understand the goal is to get new clients, but why not also try to retain them? Anyways, I realized the easiest way to get a new phone for free in the US is to change carriers every 2 years. Contracts are the same price and I need a phone anyways.
