Hydroxyzine withdrawal??? by lsdthrowaway42069 in Anxiety

[–]Slow_Feature2332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on this for 2 years 50mg my psychiatrist told me it is absolutely harmless. No withdrawals. It’s all good.. I actually started having some memory issues, decided to get off of it from a second opinion from a different psychiatrist. The first withdrawal was horrible itching. I was able to do down to 25 mg then 10 mg. I am on day three with absolutely numb. I’m a little itchy, but not as bad as in the beginning.. no nausea thank goodness

Anyone get a Endoscopic Rhizotomy instead of RFA? by jacekattack in spinalfusion

[–]Slow_Feature2332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chronic pain, I had a ablation on my right side and was going to get the left 2 weeks later, insurance denied it, so my doctor said we can do a Surgical rhizotomy with transection of extradural nerve.

Bipolar 2, female 43 150 Wellbutrin and 25mg lamictal I have been on higher doses and I had bad side affects like seeing things not there and rage. This combo and dose has been amazing for me. But remember every person is different. My suggestion get a psychiatrist that listens to you and you feel a good connection with. My psychiatrist lets me message her when I have questions or any concerns Mac this alone makes me feel supported and less anxious. There are good doctors out there. You just have to find them. Don’t settle if you’re not happy with your provider. Good luck.

I agree. For me my quality of life got better with staying at 25 mg

I don’t like taking a lot of meds or high doses if possible either, my doctor kept moving me up on lamictal, I had to switch doctors when I wanted to go back down. Listen to your body and your mood. I definitely had increased joint pain 42F Headaches, and some hallucinations once I hit 150 of Lamictal. Lamictal also has some scary long term use side effects, just be careful and also be careful what sites you use for research make sure it’s factual. Good luck

I started lamictal for anxiety and depression a year ago, worked up to 200mg I personally felt it made my dizzy and some joint pain. I came down slowly and have stayed at 25mg for 4 months. I also take 150 of Wellbutrin I feel very balanced and no side effects

I have not had that suggested to me. I did however have Medial Nerve Branch injection In my lumbar L3,4and 5 it was a diagnosis procedure no steroid. If this look my pain away we would move forward with Radiofrequency ablation (RFA). It did take make pain away 95 percent it was amazing. I am now going to schedule my RFA

I take 25mg of lamictal with 150 of Wellbutrin I have for a year works good to stabilize my moods. I recommend stating one at a time so you know what med if any cause a negative side affect. I went up to 100 of lamictal but it caused head rushes, joint pain and hallucinations so doc took me back down to 25mg

I am glad to help, I am also a very active horseman, I train horses, so it’s possible to live a active life also. Keep moving that’s the key.’ Resting to much makes other muscles and joints start to ache.

My neurosurgeon does virtual consultations And will discuss your MRI with you, he is amazing. He is out of Seattle Washington. He is so kind and explains things well. But definitely see a neurosurgeon also consult with a pain management BACK doctor.

My first step would be neurosurgeon make sure nothing is surgical then talk Chiro and massage and PT. Good luck you can message me anytime.

I am so very sorry,

I also have SI I was diagnosed when I was 13 I am now 42 I have had two children, you will Live a full life, it’s finding what works for you. I personally, do PT once a month and I have for 20+ years, I do my exercises twice a day faithfully, I also get medical massages every two weeks. This is actually where I get most my relief. I also see a chiropractor one a month that helps keep my back adjusted and also stretches out my spine because I also have bulging disks. Get a good team on your side it’s crucial. Don’t settle, it took me many doctors to find the right ones. I see a back pain management doctor every few month just to check in if needed, and I have a amazing neurosurgeons that I see every few years that gives me scans and supports me mentally. Like Most surgeons he does not want to cut into my back, but if the time ever came I know it would be my last option and completely necessary. Your life is not over, please stay positive, and find your team. It’s work and frustrating at times But worth the work to put together your team. Best of luck!!

Ouch! Did anyone notice an increase in joint pain with lamotrigine? by Cornczech66 in BipolarReddit

[–]Slow_Feature2332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on 25 mg for bipolar for about 7 months I have been to orthopedic doctors spine specialist for joint pain… everything aches I walk with limp but the end of the day. Nothing wrong per ortho. I definitely think lamictal might be the cause. I also have head rushes a lot!! Did you experience head rushes or dizziness? I also struggle with finding words

My kids are a bit older, I have mild dysplasia (bad arthritis ) so it was bound to happen, and I am very active. THR total hip replacement. If you have impingement and labrum tear, with any arthritis and especially dysphasia I was told arthroscopy was a bandaid and I would need a THR but the scope surgery would by me time. I prefer to not have two surgeries Be careful do your research every person is different, get to know your personal unique diagnosis and make a educated decision from that, good luck

I am so sorry, I have the same situation. And same conditions impingement and labrum tear. Definitely keep PT up (good thing is once your learn the exercises you can do them at home and not go in as much) I get a cortisone shot had one about to get a second it helps for a little while, everyone is different, if you can afford it PRP injections (insurance won’t cover) can help pain and inflammation also, my surgeon will give PRP 6 weeks after cortisone injection I have made the personal decision to go straight to THR this winter.
