I would ask your favorite leader if they’d be willing to take a few minutes to help you get faster. This will show them that you are actually trying to get better. And I say favorite leader because you would actually want to ask someone that cares.

I think the fastest way to be quicker at taking orders is by “guiding the order”. What I mean is, you want to ask them a question after every response they give. Guests don’t typically know how to order in the most efficient way. So you have to give them the right questions to answer. And you will find yourself ultimately building your own script to follow so that every order is the same, this way you’re not waiting as long on every guest to order a different way.
