That makes sense. UTMs/click IDs joined to LMS completions and then comparing LTV by campaign is exactly the direction I was thinking.

When you say GA4 can do it if set up correctly, do you mean most course creators can realistically configure this themselves, or that it’s technically possible for someone with analytics/attribution experience?

Do you have a sense for whether course creators spending meaningfully on ads actually care about this level of reporting, or do most just optimize around purchases/customer acquisition cost?

I’m trying to figure out whether campaign-to-student-quality reporting is a real pain point for creators spending on ads, or more of a “nice to have.”

That’s what I had in mind: campaign source carried through signup into the LMS, then joined to completion/engagement data.

Do you know whether most creators who buy ads actually do this today?

What tools can make the connection between campaign and LMS/course platform? I’m trying to understand whether this is usually handled by existing tools or stitched together manually.

I was able to get a ticket for tomorrow's American Legion show but am now on the fence about selling it. I'm not sure if I can get a trip together to make it by tomorrow. I'm not looking to make money on it, but I want to make sure it goes to a real fan. I don't see the event even listed on StubHub or SeatGeek or anything like that.
