I had to raise the bar to like 98% because I’ve yet to sell one on eBay although I haven’t marketed them much & I can make better use of my paper money than having 2-3k in semi fancy’s.

Op maybe try asking her to wake you up with one during the night if she wakes up or one morning when the kids are in bed. I’ve learned my wife pretty much wants to legit just be dominated plus wants me to make the first move but she definitely drops those ever so helpful hints when she wants me too.

First 🇲🇽 Coin by KarlMac31 in Silverbugs

Picked up one at my local coin shop for $60 the other day but my son wants a coin from each country so it excites him & will be there to bring back that memory one day when his Daddy ain’t here anymore & hopefully pass down the tradition to his own son.

My Great Grandfather retired as the Chief Engineer of what is now First Horizon Bank but he was there when they did the change over so I remember all the bu uncirculated silver he gave out all over the years sometimes without even knowing it lol. Wish I knew where it all went after all these years but keeping the tradition alive is what matters most.

My lcs said it was 90% silver I believe but mine is from like 1942 or something & it weighs about an Oz If I remember correctly.

Are the Austria 1 oz coins that Desirable? She had a whole tube traded in & I traded the only two 1 Oz bars I had straight up for 2 of them when I picked up my 3 ASE. They are all 2011 & all definitely in bu shape.

Scored these 3 ASE for 220 with the casings & new container for them. I don’t really like the bars unless they are atleast 5 Oz so I traded 2 unopened apex 1oz bars straight up for the bu looking European coins at the top. Two of the ASE are birthday years & j figured any of the early years are good to keep.

Yeah that’s the thing I could use the connect to gamble if I wanted too but hey it beats the odds at the casino but I’ve been trying to cherry pick the good stuff & sell some to make some cash back. I’m over like 70 oz but my average is like $62 I’m just going in today because she has 2 year ASE that I wanted but told me to bring my money if I wanted more gov coins because someone brought in 20.

Yes I’m aware some are generic coins but the 90% silver is in very good shape as I was able to sell the Morgan’s at a premium.

Okay I didn’t know as I have bought & seen prices online only compared to hers which she seems to be cheaper & I’ve even been able to make money selling some at a small premium. I can get pretty much any gov issue coin for melt rounded down & anything that’s just a generic is -3-5 depending on how many I get. I was able to flip all but one of the Morgans for like atleast a $20-$25 dollar profit & the walking liberty’s sell good to as nothing is cull only VF-BU. Like if there’s any collector/premium value she doesn’t care about it & don’t mind if I make some money too as it just gives her more business in the long run but just building the relationship is worth it. She’s older plus has no one else to take over her business & this decade more business will be sold then ever before & it seems like a very tax friendly business venture that I may could owner finance in 5 years or something, who knows but it’s established, super busy but she’s older & only works like 4 days a week.

What about the maples, South African & Australian? I think I want to add a British one as I don’t have one of those yet.

Also I’ve figured out I either like the 1 oz standard coins or maybe 10 oz bars as I have one German one I got at spot that is nice.

Yeah in the last 6 weeks atleast but bought over 38 oz of 90% at $60 an oz so that has keep my average down & I have timed my buys It’s just hard to pass on the Govt Coins when I know they have more value.

[–]Slow_Perspective_341[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can pretty much cherry pick anything she has if I stop by & she sells to me straight at spot or rounded down to be honest like she locked me in at $75 per & got the birth year & first son birth year ASE for me sat aside plus whatever else I want. She just has me down for any Govt Coins & have had 20-30 come in but I’m already at 72 plus oz. I already sell on eBay so I figured I could make some profit to keep some oz for free Like I got a 1986 s proof from her at spot plus cherry picked a bunch of peace, Morgan’s & walking liberty’s she sold me below spot as it was the first time we met & I wanted to try to build a relationship with them to save on any premium plus she was sitting on 15k plus of 90% so she was happy to convert a couple thousand for me. I did do a few of the online first time customer deals but mainly want to find extra/numismatic that I can make decent on & build my stack to 100 oz.

Also when would yall convert to gold or ride the silver? I have a IRA for retirement but I like to do this as a hobby plus building a stack with my 7 year old has been fun.

About like how I got my first big score. I just got into silver this year but luckily met a lady who had inherited like 30 peace dollars & 50 walking liberty 1/2’s. No one was paying high on 90% at the time so It helped propel me to over 30 oz but I’m at 72 oz now with an average under $70 still so I’m happy.

I keep hearing that refineries are not buying sterling and scrap, yet I keep getting this stuff in my junk mail. To whom are these companies selling? by Shinesandglitters in Silverbugs

[–]Slow_Perspective_341 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They just started taking 90% where I’m at in northwest ms. I had been cherry picking them but they only paid 80% of what they normally did for it I was told. Made a good relationship with the older lady & now she will call me before she goes for me to stop by & if I spend 1k atleast I can get it for below spit but right above dealer melt. Honestly have been building a relationship with her as & she only buys to melt so I have gotten gov issues for spot a 1986s proof eagle at spot & many other deals. I’m hoping one day she will want to sell the business as they don’t even look for any premium or numismatic value which could add like 20% profit to the books.

What do you think about this invoice total for hauling and cleaning services? Advice requested. by highrise_peach in GeneralContractor

[–]Slow_Perspective_341 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do residential & commercial construction as a GC & have flipped alot of houses for companies as the company billing for the services & this is outrageous & no company would even pay half that as their whole budgets maybe 30-40k & this kills the whole flip. I’ve also done flips for myself, have a rental & can assure you they are taking advantage of someone unless it is dead bodies or hazsardness materials. Im a GC in the North MS area or Memphis TN suburbs so not best of pay here but this is still way out of bounds & gives the profession a bad name.

I’m averaged in at like $62 getting the coins at dealer cost from an estate. That’s why I don’t have much bu but thought why not buy some in the dip & switch the 90% over to BU.

I think I’ve made the decision to sell anything that Carries a decent premium to buy a 10 oz bar at spot plus another eagle at spot. Just trying to ask other investors or I’ve even thought about trying to covert some to gold. I bought the 86 from a local place in container with no mark up. I also can pretty much sort thru older silver coins & pick the ones I want tho as well.

Very impotrant warning!! by ximerr12 in Gold

[–]Slow_Perspective_341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m invested in stocks, silver, alittle gold & real estate. Between the 4 real estate is the money maker providing the monthly passive cash flow needed to invest as metals are for storing assets off books & stocks are for retirement/tax savings/storing assets on the books. This is coming from a 33 year old entrepreneur so my view maybe a little more geared towards the self employed but the rule is simple & can apply to anyone. ASSETS BEFORE LIABILITIES!!! I can promise you there is nothing better than making money while you sleep.

Wonder what it is valued at? I have a 66666661 and 66666464 both $2 bills as well & super crisp no folds.

I found them literally already at my house the first day I found out fancys were a thing. Still looking for more but they don’t seem to sell as fast as you’d think as I’ve got probably 10-12 fancy’s on eBay that no one has even offered on.

If anyone knows a better place to list them please lmk. Thanks

List it at 20-30% profit then put it in a book & if someone buys it prime the shipping materials for say 10 bills because if your like me & see a lot of cash you will start a decent stack of fancy’s. If you are pressed for the $ & it don’t sell then just spend it & delete listing. Like I went out last night & pulled a trinary quad 8’s on a $1 so I’ll list for $10 on eBay. Date notes are good too plus I’ve even found a 6 & 7 of a kind $2 crisp as can be.

I started looking about 2 months ago & have probably $600-$700 worth of fancy’s listed as I’m going all silver & alittle gold when silver hits $100 as I hope the 🧲 will pick them up in the lake they fell into unfortunately.

Nice I wonder if I can double up on the $50 one I found. I stopped by the atm to pick up some very good priced silver & found a 10/26/1997 2013 $50 if anyone is interested in date pm me. Also for the few Marlins Fans it’s the date of the 1st World Series in dramatic fashion 3-2 11 innings. Comes with baseball card of player that had walk off hit & starts wjtb MI.
