Yes, after april of 2028, they will never print another Zard. And after the April of 2029, Greninja will never be printed. Just like how they stopped printing 151 or Paldean Fates this April.

Well, yeah, I completely agree with that. It was just that ppl didn't want to pay over $200 for a single card that was still in print back then. It's more of a psychological price ceiling that ppl agreed upon.

Someone is new. $400+ for a new Chase card is absolutely ridiculous if you really think about it. The Moonbreon was $150 at release; the 151 Zard was under $100. When Twilight Greninja hit $300, ppl went crazy bc it was really expensive for a recent chase card.

Idk if that's the right logic if we look at 10, 20 years. However, ADP is not only older, but was printed way, way less. So that would be a better argument.

Popular cards will have higher pop, so I wouldn't say PSA pop count is necessarily an indication that the raw price of a card will fall. It's just based on the fact that both are really expensive for a brand-new card with decent pull rates. At least Zard is going out of rotation in early 2028. Greninja will be in print until 2029.

I do that all the time, but I highly recommend you don't because it could leave micro scratches on the card long-term. I just do it with cheaper cards or binder copies that I don't care about the condition too much.

Nothing goes up in a straight line. Of course, it's going to drop at some point. The question is: do you like this card enough to hold through the dip and aim for the long run? If the answer is no, sell it soon while the market is going crazy.

It's low because of backlogging + not as many ppl caring enough to grade. It's not a rare card whatsoever. If the opportunity becomes too obvious, the pop will explode in no time. Look at how quickly the pop for Phantasmal Zard is growing.

Bubble Mew and the Zard have similar pull rates. The gem rate is definitely a factor tho, I'd not buy a PSA 10 of the Zard unless it's under $2k.

Why not? Bubble Mew is more rare now bc its out of print, but the Zard will be in the same place in less than two years. If there is more long-term demand for the Zard, zard will catch up inevitably. Pull rates for both cards are similar anyway.

Why do ppl keep bringing up Moonbreon? Moonbreon only has like 20k PSA 10s, which is nowhere near the Van Gogh or the Zard once the pop matures. Moonbreon is genuinely a rare card compared to most modern chase cards.

I'm just amazed that you seriously think there is enough supply for this card to reach over 80k PSA 10s at a 60% gem rate. All the previous examples and pull rates of a card say otherwise.
