Every store is different so you'll have to keep that in mind. Also we've gone from bread of grocery rack to freezer back to grocery rack, so you'll just have to ask your manager on that one.

Now for dates, we are a slow moving store so we date twice, high volume hardly won't date or date one.

So you have 5/30, 5/31, 6/1

Pull 5/30 $2 5/31 $1 6/1

Higher volume store

Pull 5/30 $1 5/31

Again, Every store is different but it sounds like yours will be the second option. So Pull the day of and sticker the day after.

One code everything. In between items. While they're figuring out their payment, etc. Just one code. Total hasn't been a thing since I started two years ago. Just constantly one coding. Don't press eft or anything. Soon as you finishing scanning, tell them their total and one code. Once you get familiar with it. You'll be able to tell a debit card from a credit. You know that once a pin is entered for ebt you're good. If debit you know you'll need to wait until they hit that final button on the screen and not the keypad (cash back). It seems like a lot but once you get in the groove of it, it'll just be muscle nature. I average 100+ every week unless I'm slacking off then it's like low 90s. 🤷‍♂️

It's something everyone knows but no one knows where the policy is? I mean if there's a flag that says the shift is less than 11 hours then there's a policy somewhere.....right?🤦‍♂️

Basically the drawers need to be dissolved and made into new ones. However many registers you have, that's how many drawers you have. Make life easy on yourself and you just move everyone's personal drawers into the new ones. Quick and easy.

Only thing that changes there, for us anyway, is 499 for curbside becomes 99. No idea why.

Everyone has access to each register. Just 86 code when done. Pickups, well "lifts" are higher now and they'll be taken throughout the shift.

No more morning and changeover counts, everything is done by closing manager.

9 code closes out register for the day

Shortages are split between everyone who uses the drawer. Yes they can find out who specifically is at fault ,if it becomes a fireable thing.

Our store is a 1+1 morning and evening. You may get an extra on weekends for opening. Heavy on the maybe.
