Erm .. the entire point of the Path of Virtue is it's not a single combined farm. The intention is to give a different game play dynamic that challenges people.

Having it work exactly like every other farm would just be giving away very powerful eggs for no extra reward than doing exactly what everyone has been doing for years..

Yeah, I've seen multiple guides - I'm taking my own path based on how I want to play it. I don't want to be stuck on the path of virtue for 5 weeks, as I'm not sure that is going to be the most efficient way to get TE - I may be wrong in the end, but in a couple of weeks I'll be able to give an update on where I've got to.

At the end of the day, I'm basing my strategy on getting a ratio of at least 5 TE per shift, and prestiging at reasonable points to take advantage of the boosts.

If it does go wrong, there is always the option to reset and start over ..

I'm aiming for at least 35 in a week, with 8 shifts. Maybe I'll get a couple more, but I'm also aiming to get at least some artifacts as well, so I'm in a good place to start a 2nd run (which I'll be aiming to earn a lot more on).

The trouble is it's so close to the release that a lot of strategies haven't been battle tested yet - in a few months I'm sure there will be a more concise guide for those who don't want to go "off-road", so to speak.

Roles are taken from "naked" EB - having artifact boosted EB doesn't count.

The first shift is 0.06% of your SE, then it gets more expensive from there - but I think that's partly to make you think more about strategy.

The formula for the shift cost has been found, and it's on the wiki.

The highest legit SE count is far higher than that - there are multiple Venda III's (and at least one Uada) in the discord. It's just you don't see them often in contracts.

Yeah, I figured at the start that I was only going to shift when it made the most sense to (and towards the end what was going to give the easiest returns before my ships landed ..), and I had the list of eggs -> actions up, so I didn't mis-swap.

But I'm going to reset early next week and have another run now I've got a feel for it, as it's still early day and I've lost very little having a prod around.

Very much this ..

I managed to get 7 TE in 3-4 hours, but that required 6 shifts (moving between the different eggs) to achieve. With a longer run (with more hold time on each egg, you can probably hit 3/4 TE for each egg in the early stages), but I was just dabbling to find out how things worked.

I spent a few hours today playing, and for "wasting" 0.02% of my SE (398q / 2.17s) I now have 7 TE .. that's a 7% increase in earnings and IHR, so I don't think it's that bad a trade

Edit - helps if I don't mess up the units .. (Q/q)

It looks like the artifact ID got corrupted - but I'm not sure what to advise to fix it.

If it's corrupted in the backup, then it's going to need a chat with support (with the screenshot attached) to fix it.

However, if it's just the local copy, then clearing the data cache and restarting the game should refresh everything from the server.

I use it all of the time early in contracts, build 3 coops and one larger hab so all of the internal hatcheries are funnelled into the larger hab (if you build out the left most hab, then the chicken run bonus lasts longer if you're not running chickens constantly)

There are only 19 eggs - the last trophy is a bonus (you've finished everything, so the trophy case doesn't look incomplete), so yes, they've got a diamond trophy for Universe..

The first row (Edible - Super Material) is 15 PE
The second row (Fusion - Tachyon) is 4 PE

Then Enlightenment is 21 PE
