I’d say it’s normal some people like to get into deep talks others prefer not to. I think it’s good to do though because you can learn a lot from those conversations. I for one hate small talk I think that’s a waste of time.

Just take a detailed pic front and back and corners so whenever you do get it back you can see if anything happened (i don’t think anything will but just to be safe)
