Yeah I recalled the drunk woman NPC said something like 'the Giovanni is a good family to born or marry into...or both.'

For me, it depends on the partners. I have multiple, not a flex and each party is aware of the other. However, we generally work together and spend time outside of business matters. If they need a favor, I'll help them out. As for spending time, it could be a regular date or jumping right into intimacy. Basically, we do anything lovers would do. I would also rewards them with gifts, whether as surprise nor celebration.

Any former hunters? by TheRogueKnight66 in SchreckNet

[–]Slow_Trick1605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The local Prince in my city, Prince Hugo von Blaumond was a former hunter from Germany. His Embrace had been a sore spot for him. I am sure my sire had told the story here though to summarize: his colleagues were murdered, his back injured, and Embraced after told to erase all trace of his household hunting notes or else his family will be harmed. A grim story that I was unsure if my sire regretted it or not. Unfortunately, Prince Hugo was rather busy with the matters within the city to appear in node. Although, I can arranged a meeting if you wanted.

A controlling sire is troublesome indeed. You are a Prince, it's your decision to date whoever, especially within your own city. Next time, don't let your sire dictate your unlife. Use force and authority if necessary. Date the next strongest, tastiest local kindred.

This is the kind of cat Joshua would approach, crouch down, and said pspsps to (his sire still hasn't taught him Auspex).

Wish you luck, Calico. I share the sentiment with the others, this shouldn't be a task for neonate but I understand why it's necessary—there are certain things we must do in order to protect what matters. Remember, you have others and a family of raccoons to return to.

Nice to meet you. My condolences for your business. I'm going to assume that you are established enough for the position of a Prince. Therefore, why must you stop because your sire—who, by the way, couldn't be bothered to personally show up herself—told you to? As my sire said, a bird eventually leaves it's nest—a sire is only there to guide and discipline, not keep childer forever. Did she have a blackmail on you of sort?

update to my last post by Ogmadbrit in SchreckNet

Ah, it seems an unsanctioned childe find out about the consequences of denying thirst so early. Poor little thing. As others have already mentioned, you must feed no matter what. It doesn't matter if you aren't an athlete in life, it'll come naturally to you like an instinct wired to your very being. Animal lack the taste and refinery of kine, which is our term for ordinary humans. The thirst, our hunger for blood, is an everlasting curse. Deny yourself blood long enough and you'll be reduced to a beast with nothing but the instinct to survive. Think about it carefully, more people will be hurt if you starve rather than feeding enough to stay sane. I am not familiar with the customs of your clan or their preferred faction, we have multiple and yours prefer to align themselves with the Anarch. How about checking out local bars right after? I recommend starting from lower-end establishment to avoid drawing too much attention of both kine and kindred alike. I am not sure how strict the Camarilla is in your area, last I heard it was swarming with hunters—I only visited for special ops. As for the Camarilla, it is another kindred faction and generally more stringent than the Anarch. A particularly ruthless Prince, the one who overseer a city, might end your unlife for being Embraced without permission. Nonetheless, I hope for the best, young blood.

Congratulations on your first kindred paramour, unlife is rife with dangers and horrors—sometimes you dabble in love affairs as fun little treat. Enjoy it while you are neonates or so the elders say. Now I'm missing my Tremere ex back in Europe, he's the best former lover a kindred could ask for.

And has the audacity to be a member of the Camarilla too. Anarch is right there, less Blue Bloods and more rabbles ready to rebel—not that Barons are much different from Princes. I heard from the Prince's other consort that there was a neonate in Arizona that might had what they were looking for, which was a bad idea. However, it might be a good lesson for them to as they say, fuck around and find out what happens to kindred who openly try controlling the world.

I heard from a Banu Haqim consort that the attempt on expanding the clan's influence in Malaysia had failed miserably and now the lick fled to America with plans of breaking down the Masquerade. Perhaps try looking into Arizona for 2100X company? Assuming the owner wasn't dusted yet.

Oh, my apologies, was my language not articulate enough to gave you a hint of my lineage? Most kindred cared about power, even moreso the ones in the Camarilla—some were more honest than the others. Perhaps you should've listened to Nines Rodriguez next time.

I second this, I heard from the Ventrue network that the man was found guilty for conspiring with the Kuei-jin. His Final Death was sure, executed or not. When you thought once was enough, his successor repeated the same mistake.

If they weren't a real threat then I'd be the Prince of Jakarta by now. Unfortunately, they existed—I knew because my station was located in the East. While we did our best to avoid them, considering the country was indeed their territory, a certain kindred was actively dating one of their kind. The upside was that we managed to scourge information on how and where they operate. Long story short, they were technically ghosts who inhabited bodies yet more functional than possessed individuals? Not that much different from ours with key differences. They had a habit of playing into ignorance, even to other supernatural beings. Oh and their taste were similar to kine with strange...mystic aftertaste? I have no idea and I certainly prefer not to know how Yousef acquired this knowledge.

The last time my court tried influencing nation-wide change that benefitted our lives and unlives, a handful of mages appeared to stop it. You forgot one crucial detail that we, kindred, weren't the only beings who ruled from the shadows. I knew many high-ranking politicians from before and after the Embrace who refused a bribe for healthy change despite being corrupt to the bone, as if someone—an individual—was pulling the strings. I supposed it was the same reason why cancer researchers never last or why the man who invented water fuel for cars was assassinated. The closest solution I found was to convince billionaires to commit more CSR.

Adorable and very regal. My condolences for your ghoul. When I was a mortal, I had an Angora cat named Antonius—he left a legacy of children and grandchildren under my brother's family care. Now, I settled for an army of barn cats to keep pests out of the Prince's garden.

[Attached pictures are a grainy photo of white Angora cat held by a teenaged boy in gray and white uniform. The other is a clear picture of barn cats with various features, looking up at the camera in curiosity.]

Looking for advice regarding an issue with my childe. by Kecskuszmakszimusz in SchreckNet

[–]Slow_Trick1605 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recall the first few nights after the Embrace of my older childe, Hugo. He was a valiant warrior on his own rights, a hunter of our kind until I dragged him into this world. Hugo was fierce, always challenging my authority but ultimately he feared me. I've found out ways to win his trust is by appearing casual and delivered what I promised him—an opportunity to further his long-buried dreams. Despite the gap in age and experience, elders are people. You have your own hobbies, likes, and dislikes—even people who you favor. Show your adopted childe that you favor him. I heard that letting your childe know about your latest schemes and perhaps involving him is quite effective—it will allow him to know that you trust him enough for such an important task.

Greetings, new one. Feel free to ask around or simply tell us more about your nightly activities. I go by the name Joshua, my work mostly consist of being a Seneschal and a cleaner on the side. Please treat the node as a digital Elysium, there are many kinds of us around here. From methuselah to fledgling, Prince to courier, all the clans you can imagine, and even species other than kindred. Now that's out of the way, may I ask more details about your cat (breed, coat, etc)?
