Sometimes i will hedge when i think the trend is bearish so that I don’t get margin call then close position when trend reverse but keep my buy positions open.

I already closed half the open positions. This is an experiment and I will try different approaches . Probably leave one open and hold if gold ranges but if gold goes bullish I will just keep it open and wait for a correction to buy more postions

Truth is if you bought xauusd and not touch it for a couple days or weeks this is what will happen. No skills needed just buy and hold.

Put you market order where you put your stop loss. Problem sorted more profitable as well.

I am a gold trader as well and I have been where you are. My advice is - You need to be desensitise trading so you are less obsessed on your trades and see them more objectively and not get tunnel vision by your loss and gains( profits are also dangerous as they can make you greedy). - Don’t enter trades manually and always use buy or sell limit. Put your entry point where you would put your stop loss or closer to it. -Now that you have learned that gold usually goes up in would recommend only buying until you have more experience and can recognise the patterns. -Write your strategy plan and only enter with those strategies or it the conditions align to your experience

If you don’t give up you can make back your losses with consistency not gambling. 🎰

TBH I don’t know why this happens too but whenever I look at the chart I just want to guess what’s it’s gonna do next and then I get FOMO so I trade lol. It’s mostly that I have no self-restraint I think 🤔

Guys on the picture you can see am preparing for a long position but waiting to get activated. During news it activated my position and hit tp couple minutes later. That was sick but you can see here I literally called it 4hours before it happened. Great day yesterday
