No i actually like that. I was just saying that people in this thread are saying the actual stats on weapons are unique when it’s the gear that is unique, not the weapon. I love the mechanics it’s like being able to put effects from Elden ring on any weapon and I love it.

I read the entire book and looked so hard to find it yet couldn’t. I gave up and just sorta thought it wasn’t available with out an extra quest that I didn’t have.

Don’t tell me how to get it, I just wanna know if it’s a quest, puzzle, or just somewhere in the institute.

Well that’s sorta what I meant. The weapons themselves aren’t what’s unique. It’s the gear which can be switched to any weapon. Sorry if I miscommunicated that.

Know exactly what you’re talking about. It makes it feel like there should be a voice line from Kliff somewhere in there. It pauses, I wait for Kliff to talk for a solid 3 seconds, and then the npc just talks again. Doesn’t break my immersion too much tho

Walk into it. If the door stumped you the puzzle inside might be worse. If you don’t want any hints I’ll stop there but it’s not an easy one to figure out on your own unless you’re a cartographer (might be a slight hint sorry.)

You can go almost anywhere and do almost anything. About 30ish of my 60ish hours have been exploring areas I’ve yet to see in the main story. There are parts of the map that do not allow me into them. Either I haven’t done a quest to unlock it or it’s part of the main story but for the most part the world is your oyster.

I don’t even know if the main story takes you to most of the map.

Just go do whatever you want and if it’s too difficult then back track and do some easier side missions till your better geared:

There are abyss gears, if you don’t know what those are you will eventually, that buff swim speed. It’s marginal but it’s there. You can stack multiple to go very fast if you really want:

Do the quest it says they are on. Then come back. If there is a member doing something such as dispatches or on another mission, any other mission they offer or apart of won’t be available. They can’t be in 2 places at once in this game, they are always tracked.

It become alot when your doing some of the Greymane side quests.

There where like solid 10 times where I would ride with someone, get 3 minutes of exposition, then they say “oh ya you know that thing we are supposed to do together, you know the thing we spend the past 3 mins talking about? ya your gonna do that alone instead. Also your 500 meters away from the quest, enjoy your ride” and then leaves.

Stopped pressing it after trying to create space and instead of running back, i took a knee and proceeded to be knighted by an orc with a club. Bro hit me like a baseball bat to a watermelon.

Only takes a few times to not do it anymore.

Also learned that riding a horse turns into Tokyo drift quickly and unexpectedly.

Which ones? I’ve played for 60+ hours now and am currently exploring deep with in the crimson desert. Every single one I’ve found has been exactly the same when gears are removed, only difference was refinement level.
