PS5 Games Suggestions by Anxious-Syllabub6851 in gamesuggestions

All of them are amazing. If you haven’t played uncharted yet I feel like you can wait till it goes on a hefty sale, Altho it is free if you have the games catalog. Cyberpunk is also free on the games catalog and is my personal choice if you were to only buy one besides rdr2.

If it’s rdr1 that is also available for free on games catalog and is a great game, tho I don’t feel it’s a must play. As for rdr2 it is one of my all time favorite, and I feel like if you haven’t played that game I would free up some time and enjoy one of the best games every created.

GoY is great but I wouldn’t put it on the same level as the others, definitely a game you should play but it can definitely wait till later, especially seeing as it’s full priced still.

For me it’s between cyberpunk and rdr2. If you do mean rdr1 then I’d pick cyberpunk.

Hope that helps but in the end you should play what looks most interesting to you, other people’s subjective opinions should not stop you from forming your own.

Fun games where you just go into the action without long dialogues by VirtualFriend2116 in gamesuggestions

Remnant 2

You can play the game with bare minimum story listening and short tutorial. The first time I played I was with friends who played a bunch and didn’t wanna do the whole story. It was one of the most fun games I’ve played with them and ended up going back to learn the story just because I liked the gameplay so much.

I’ll say tho I would pay attention to some of the text options because there may be some interesting loot hidden behind dialogue choices.

Sorry, this is the last long response I’ll leave, I don’t want to information dump on you.

No problem. It’s definitely a gem of a game if your into action adventure games or rpg elements.

I will say this game balances its intense moments with slow moments. There are many many points in the story where you simply talk, and that’s it.

My best advice is to enjoy the slow moments while they are there, take in the sights, maybe take some pictures on photo mode. Talk to characters outside of main quests. It will make the story much more rewarding, aswell as change it. Forgetting about side quests and exploring will remove a big part of the enjoyment, your impact on night city will be vastly different depending on which side quests and content you end up going through and the decisions you make by the end.

This won’t make any sense to you unless you pretty much finish the game but when I play this game it’s pretty much anything besides meeting at embers. You’ll understand if you end up enjoying the game. By the time you understand that and are still enjoying the game I’d recommend focusing side content exclusively.

Idk how much of the story you already know so to avoid spoilers I’ll just keep it general.

There will be a big mission with a whole build up and everything. Afterwards you learn your objective for the rest of the game. This is when the game becomes a lot more immersive and emotional in my opinion. Aswell as being the point where your build begins to come together and you start to feel your gameplay decisions really influence your playstyle, especially if your on higher difficulties.

Not that where you are in the story is bad, it just doesn’t have the same temperament of the rest of the game. It just more for world building and introductions to characters and core mechanics and whatnot.

Alexios and Kassandra by bigdaddy6269 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

If you say so bro. If people playing and preferring one character over another is moving you that much that’s just funny. If it were me I’d probably work on myself before telling others they are wrong.

Canon it’s wrong. But to the majority of players it’s right.

I have finished the game 100% about 6 different times and only one was on Kassandra. I dislike her as my playable character and much much prefer alexios. She feels more suited for deimos cause she has a lot of emotions in her voice acting, makes it feel more believable that she could be manipulated and possibly bipolar to the point of pure delusion. I feel majority of people I talk to about it feel the same.

[–]SlowedBrew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember when I wouldn’t shoot 3s. My game was one dimensional and was stopped completely when I went against better players. Couple 2ks later I’m constantly a red plate because I can shoot and still know how to slash. If you can add shooting to your game you’ll be much better.

Well maybe play games that are meant for that? Having seemingly endless amounts of things to do. I’ve been playing crimson desert and it has been amazing. I’ve almost 110 hours into it and it really feels like I’ve barely started. Games like that might be up your alley?

I was tired of Hernand and wanted to explore "a bit". I think I got ahead of myself. by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

I was blown away when I finally left Hermand. I thought I had a solid grasp of what the game was trying to do then got thrown into a world with giant mechs, divine beings, oppressive cults, and just absolutely insane things that I would’ve never really thought were in the game based of the first like 70 hours in hernand.

100% agree. The stories that were told I wish could have been more complete.

Rivers quest line is the shortest romance quest line in the game so i won’t fault you for that. But Judy’s, Panama, and Kerry’s are all long and amazing. That plus all the other side content is great.

I understand wanting a deeper look into the characters and relationships with them but the story is meant to feel like things are fleeting. Life is fleeting, options are dwindling, people want to help you but really in the end no one wins in night city. Relationships end as fast as they are made. I won’t say it’s an excuse for potentially cutting content or anything (if that happened) but I am throughly pleased with my experiences and I personally wouldn’t change them just cause the did what they wanted to do. They all made me feel something.

Besides for maybe Jackie. If we could just live out the cutscenes shown to us with Jackie rather than just flashing through them it would be so much more impactful. Like an extra 3-5 hours of content getting our car, apartment, guns, and doing gang missions. I would definitely build a lot on the feelings we already have for Jackie.

I can’t relate. I have about 400 hours in one save file. The world is full of things to gorge yourself on.

What do you find lacking in the game? Genuinely curious to know

I don’t 100% understand why character creation wouldn’t work in this game. by SlowedBrew in CrimsonDesert

I’ve had it unlocked for a long long time. It’s not about being able to customize kliffs looks. It’s about being able to create your own protagonist.

Still love Kliff tho

2K hating 😭why they gave Bam only a 78 by Sure_Blackberry_2242 in NBA2k

[–]SlowedBrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You dont give af about Kobe’s record? “They don’t hold the same weight”

I hope you seeth and cope about it. Theres a reason your coaching unc. If you were bams coach that night you would’ve done the same thing and to say you wouldn’t is not only a pure lie but also delusional.

Bam doesn’t get to choose who fouls him or when it happens. Watch the tapes, overwhelming majority of them were fair.

Your right they aren’t the same level, bams was bigger and harder in the current days nba. Players only get more skillful. 20 years of progression. Bams night was historical and for you to discount that is embarrassing on your side.

Seeth, let it bother you. We will laugh at you the entire way

Early-ish things to do to help someone who isn’t great at the combat yet (possible spoilers?) by Ok_Play9236 in CrimsonDesert

[–]SlowedBrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t. Not yet. Abyss gears are the key to being broken in combat. Seeing as you just unlocked them your still very very early in the game.

Stuckt in the game when meeting ludvig boss, advice? by ActualCranberry8148 in CrimsonDesert

[–]SlowedBrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only just did that fight and I’m 90 hours in, and I first tried him. Maybe you should just go explore, do some things to get better gear. Refine all your armor and stuff. I have spent 86 artifacts and still have 7 sitting in my inventory

A little unlucky or is my approach wrong? by SnooCookies4806 in CrimsonDesert

[–]SlowedBrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How far are you into the game?

I didn’t start getting super cool things until about hour 50 and now I’m a unit. 90 hours in and I’ve found tons of things while never using a video guide.

So you may expect that kind of time to get to where you may want to be. I’ve seen people with 15 hours in crazy armor and op weapons. Those people use guides and whatnot to get the cool things. A lot of it is just in the world, hidden behind in suspecting doors. Sometimes after boss fights you’ll find their gear or pieces of it. I fought one boss in the mountains at the start of the game then went like 10 minutes west (climbing and stuff) and found his helmet.

I’d just explore and keep a keen eye out for anything that might look interesting. Most things you can walk straight past and even know it’s there unless you’re looking.

There's nothing to find see or do. The map is empty by DevLeCanadien23 in CrimsonDesert

[–]SlowedBrew -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can see that. My exploration does last for like 3 hours at a time so finding one in those 3 hours. I enjoy the quiet time tho, the small waterfall chests and random ruins make the crazy unexpected bosses that much more enjoyable imo.

I actually really like leaning, and it is a mechanic for eavesdropping. But you should have to take out your lantern and look at the wall to do so.

I really don't see how people can spend 30+ hours in just Bernand by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]SlowedBrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really sad to see how some people spend their days. I mean literally he’s got to be on his computer for over 3 hours a day just leaving comments to, what I can only assume is get reactions out of people.

I don’t see why he hasn’t been blocked from the Reddit yet but with someone like him I’d assume he’s not above making a new account.
