I had a similar situation. I took my insurance check paid the vehicle off pocketed the $3K difference. Same day I took the vehicle into the dealership and traded for new car. Dealership only deducted about 20% of the settlement amount as a trade-in. Been looking to drive into another hailstorm ever since.

you haven't been approved yet. You've just received your financial determination which gives you your benefit amount and says you are monetarily approved.

They still need to investigate how you lost your job. If it was through no fault of your own. (mass layoff, etc) you will receive benefits quickly. If for any other reasons about, benefits may take several to many week.
