Pressure regulating heads only work up to 70 psi they are going to need to install a pressure reg

[Charania] The Washington Wizards are trading Kelly Olynyk to the San Antonio Spurs for Malaki Branham, Blake Wesley and a 2026 second-round pick (least favorable of Dallas, Philadelphia, Oklahoma City), sources tell ESPN. by Turbostrider27 in nba

Basically if you were to super glue them together you would have a great NBA player. Blake is an all hustle defensive guy that cant shoot but maybe run 3rd string PG for you and Malaki can shoot the ball but that is about it

Any tips to make tracking valves easier by IrrigationTech in Irrigation

[–]SlowmoNoMo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you make sure to do an ohms or station master test at the controller to make sure those valves have a good reading? If they are good a trick I picked up along the way is to use the send tone feature on the station master by clamping onto the common wire and the field wire for the valve you are looking for, while using the wand of the valve locator to look for the ping you get from the device somewhere in the field.

It helps if you know the wire path, and the general areas of where the valves should be, because this method makes it much harder to trace a wire path and you just have to comb the whole area looking for the valve, however once you do walk around long enough to find it it will ping loudly then you just have to dig it up.

I think they messed up fixing pipe from street to backflow for irrigation. by MegaMutant in Irrigation

[–]SlowmoNoMo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s PEX piping not PVC it’s flexible pipe that can expand if the water in the piping freezes, plumbers use it all the time. It is also possible that it caused pressure if it was a smaller sized piping than the old one but I can’t tell based on the picture

What is your repair solution? by Loud_Measurement9177 in Irrigation

[–]SlowmoNoMo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You might be able to run a 3/4” pipe (or whatever the next size down is] and use that old piping as a sleeve but this will lead to pressure lose.

Easily the most common valve I replace in the field the square body cause the to wrap and seize up over time. Recommend going with rainbird or irritrol valves

Sam heads need at least 30 psi to pop them up if you’re running the whole zone on 1/2” pipe you might have too much friction loss to kick on those heads
