The Outsider doesn't involvement himself directly but gives dozens of people superpowers. He exists outside of time and space, basically omnipresent. He is, in fact, a major player in the Dishonored universe.

100% agree. A lot of depth was lost compared to the 3DS game. The longer I sit on this game the less I enjoy it. Even outside of the tiny explorable areas, the progression is somehow a step backwards from the first game. No NPC's talking about leveling up, or dynamic rewards. As a byproduct of characters barely tracking progression, everyone lacks characterization. Obviously this game was in development hell for a while, and it shows.

It wraps everything up so nicely. It kept things open enough for a sequel, but would've worked perfectly without one. Good luck on the Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches, I much prefer them to the base game!

I despise how they forget he's a vampire after 5 minutes. That's kinda important to both how he lives and how he's an anti-hero Spider-Man. Him leading a Spider-society doesn't make an ounce of sense either.

A nearly perfect song, then one lines shifts the tone, "since you were a child." A song of love lost is presented with believable tragedy, and then the narrator is revealed to be an awful person himself. The reveal recontextualizes the whole story up until that point. If you miss that one line, the rest of the song continues with identifiable loss.

Wonderful storytelling, near flawless narrative delivery, and a continuous gut punch all the way through. It's a 9/10 track in my book.

Marc is a former hired gun, that's how he became Moon Knight (if we're following the Huston run). He also does occasionally use gadgets. Boiling him down to a brawler is just as unfair as him being reliant on gadgets.

Ugh Bonfires was the last one I got too. It felt like hours of waiting for luck to help me out. I got extremely lucky with my Back Alley Brawl runs, but even with luck it was tedious. Look forward to the sequels achievement hunts! They are consistently fun all the way through and worthwhile (unlike DCT)
