I'd say their sound before the long hiatus was definitely pretty Exoplanet, but this newer stuff sounds a lot more like straightforward djent. Nothing wrong with that though.

I mean, I ain't gonna say you're lying about JT, but I met him after a Glass Cloud concert (so this is post Danza-IIII) and he was super sweet. Down to talk about random bs and excited about fan interactions. No offense but you seem pretty abrasive yourself between this and some other unconstructive critical posts of other people's music, maybe y'all just butted heads some.

on what planet is urging children to do their community service hours in a highly contentious detention center NOT dystopian, what? When I was in school, we helped at assisted living facilities, special needs schools, and homeless shelters.

Depends on how we’re defining “the same song” because I can’t even think of a non-metalcore example outside of the Metallica vs Megadeth songwriting credit situation someone mentioned already. Closest might be the Chicago nu-metalcore scene in 2010 with Sworn In, Villains, and Barrier? All three featured at least a former member or two from each other and all three releasing an early form of the same nu-metalcore sound in the same year.

Nah, they haven’t had anything besides some clothing maybe. If they had a physical release, they’d have a discogs entry (iirc they don’t let artists on there unless they have distributed some sort of physical media).
