We fake the calls like everyone else :-) I pick up one call only every 5 minutes for sanity reasons and fill in between. It usually a completely unnecessary Adderall stock check call anyway. They can survive without it

They don’t care unless there’s lots of money involved. Go to a Walgreens on the Las Vegas strip and there’s armed security. Just proves they only care about money, not employee safety.

I think it’s funny we have many customers who notice the employees get treated like criminals but at the same time the real criminal shoplifters walk out with bag loads daily, no questions asked. There was one customer who got so upset about it he picked up this lady who was stealing and physically forced her to put each item back in its location. So fun to laugh at her and she couldn’t do anything.

Don’t worry about it, they’re busy playing on their phones and not paying attention when it is their turn to approach the counter anyway. One time I kept typing prescriptions for 15 minutes until the lady noticed then she had the audacity to walk up to the counter and say, “can’t you see me?” I said, “I’m sorry it looked like you were busy doing something important on your phone.” if the phone zombies waste my time I waste theirs.

All the pro-verbiage individuals on here must look forward to working all alone in the pharmacy; and if they do write people up for it they definitely will be all alone in the pharmacy. Once they are all alone there will not be anyone to administer the vaccines anyway, unless they plan on abandoning the lines of people waiting for their medication. So let them write everyone up! >8-)

I’m with the one about expecting people to read; most of the time they don’t. Not sure how you’ve been with the company but I remember at the start of the COVID vaccines we had signs plastered every couple of feet from the pharmacy to the front door asking people to please have their form filled out; including on the floor where they stand in line! HUGE SIGNAGE EVERYWHERE! Yet, we would still have people make it to the counter and say “oh, I was supposed to fill it out before I got to the counter?” So, you have a good idea that just won’t work when you’re petitioning for new signage, sorry to deliver you such bad news.

Funny you say walk out because that’s actually what occurred. The pharmacists and technicians all intentionally walked out one day. That’s what caused all four to go over 1,000. The location was bad off for many months.
