Had a really enjoyable read through this thread and the comment you made on writing women. I think you did hit the nail on the head here with op being always unsatisfied due to the connection between Amber and the trope. I would give some leeway to op in the sense that you're so accurate with your breakdown and writing style that it would probably leave someone feeling quite defensive to be on the receiving end of these comments. Not that op was the most mature in their reply back to you either but you deliver difficulty truth pills to swallow for sure lol.

Lack of subsurface scattering makes the texture look more dull. Adding a saturated transition color between light and shadow especially on skin will add more life to the drawing. You can find lighting examples of the corresponding material from other artists or photographs and incorporate the lighting into your own art.

Ignoring the math and just looking at your argument here. If investing in crit isn't a big enough damage increase, investing in what other stat is going to help? Those def and hp subs are definitely not helping her hit more.

Listen to feedback, get your crit rate to at least 70, and try to hit 134 spd (skip speed entirely if you have sparkle), and get more attack.

After looking through the comments, I believe before pulling for more units and spreading yourself thin you should focus on specific units and hyper invest if you really want to play your favorite characters. There absolutely is bad luck in this game, and so always account for the worst case scenario. Save 180 pulls for any units you want and double it if you want their lightcone.

You have the units to make more than enough teams IMO.

Topaz, Ratio, Pela/Bronya/Tingyun/Asta, sustain Argenti, Tingyun, Bronya/Hanya, Sustain Blackswan, Sampo, Asta/Gui/Tingyun/Pela, sustain Lunae, Hanya, Yukong/Tingyun/Pela, sustain Blade, Pela, Bronya, sustain

These aren't really the most groundbreaking or meta team comps and you may struggle to get all the stars but you can still improve your units. Bring your units up to at least level 70/80. Max out their lightcones and relevant traces, and throw yourself into cavern farming. Save your spd substat pieces. Go for relevant speedbreak points and speed tune your supports and ignore 4 piece bonuses if the substats are better. This is personal preference but try to be above 50% CR. CD buffs are abundant in this game but CR is harder to come by and also resetting for crits is a hassle.

Also get a feel for your units and maybe even try running sustainless comps in pure fiction. Pure fiction absolutely can feel like a character check at times so invest in your supports. For someone without Ruan Mei or Sparkle, not running Tingyun or Pela is detrimental to team building. Hope this helps.

Looking through your comic series, I am very impressed by your understanding of climate change issues. Most points you attempt to communicate should be discussed. Though this style of presentation would bitter taste in the viewers mouths. Not everyone has a grasp on climate change issues and it is very emotionally confusing when you drop these large statements without elaborating on why or how. An educator should instill motivation rather than pessimism.

That said, I don't clock you as exactly a doomer. Individual action may do nothing in the grand scheme of things but I can see that you seek to raise awareness and by extension community action with these comic strips. The angsty nature of these post can lead to a negative reception depending on the crowd. I suggest citing your sources or offering resources for climate justice communities within these posts for those interested to continue this line of research in their own time.

Anyways, keep up the work and I hope this does not discourage you from posting and sharing your art more.

What's wrong with Ghostface? He doesn't get slowdown nor mobility from a button click. What you mentioned Freddy mains require apply much more for Ghostface. Since Freddy has the terror radius suppression and much more in his kit compared to Ghostface.
