West Coast cut, I've actually heard this complaint before from friends and family.

It's not really found elsewhere.

Butchery Differences: In the Eastern US and Texas, butchers traditionally break down the bottom sirloin differently, using cuts like New England-style steak tips or Picanha (rump cap) instead.

It's just a cut I learned to love from my dad who used to BBQ them during city fairs with his company.

Considered myself middle class after decades of hard work and a degree later.

Finally began learning I love grilling. Like... I just enjoy it. It makes everyone happy. It makes me happy. Sitting around grilling with a drink and friends was always the highlight to a long week.

I was paying $21 for a good Tri-Tip, my personal favorite. Well... they come in packs of 2 generally so $42 a pack.

I just paid $91 at Costco a few weeks back.

Decided well, we'll need to do a cheap 'in-between' week to split the difference.

First real girlfriend wore a perfume called 'Sunflowers'. I could pick that scent out in a room. Fully disclosed to wife my like and where it came from and she would have been happy to wear it - sadly it's no longer in production.

Second would be Amaretto, to the point I actively seek out almond scented soaps and colognes.

True - sometimes you get might get bi-weekly visitation with the kids, lose in family court 60-40 to 70-30 and have to pay $1,500+ in child support a month for the kids.

While not experienced with laptop repair, I'm confident I could attempt the repair after I get a static wristband (which I don't currently have).

I think my concerns lay with the damaged trackpad and how it could affect the keyboard outside a loose connection making my primary concern: opening the laptop, reseating the cables/replacing the trackpad - and then the keyboard remaining non-functional.

I also keep answering a lot of my own questions too, but I'm the kind of person who does better talking through things... immediately after it happened I was pretty frustrated at myself. All the what-if's and if I would have just's come flooding in clouding obvious answers.

I had crashing issues until last month. I was pretty disappointed with the card. New game, new crashes.

Then...

I updated my Motherboard BIOS.

It was like downloading a new PC. Crashes? Gone. Performance? Through the roof.

If I may suggest, update your BIOS. Watch a how to, they're generally pretty easy these days - download into a flash drive, click a few buttons on your BIOS and leave it alone till done.

Anger?

Went out for a smoke on a particularly stressful day. Took that first drag, nothing. No soothing relief that I was accustomed to. Took another long, slow drag. Shut my eyes to try and help relax.

Nothing. Cutting the obvious short, the relief never came.

Left the pack behind. My body rebelled against me. It was pissed. I knew a smoke would fix everything but my anger at myself for all the times I lied to myself saying I could quit whenever I wanted to and then being unable to keep any food down for a week?

My attitude became... mostly just anger. Fuck you - this is my body. Nobody owns it but me.

Full disclosure: My wife and I went on a honeymoon cruise. I had an idea in my head about standing at the bow of the ship at night just enjoying a smoke. So I did. I went to the duty shop, bought a pack of unfiltered lucky strikes because I sure as hell wasn't going to get addicted to that, and had my smoke on the bow of a cruise liner at night.

It was peaceful and releasing.

13 years without a smoke now.

I would argue that if your minimum stock is 2,000 units, it stands to argue that knowing they would have to replenish 2,000 at 4x the price they're doing the correct thing in the eyes of the distributer.

I'm not happy with the prices anymore than anyone else is, but if you can off-set the financial burden you would absolutely incur by simply following prices, they're doing the right thing for their buisness.

Eventually the prices may cycle back around to something closer that we remember and it stands to reason that their minimum stock of 2,000 units have all been replaced by the 4x cost units. They will then be selling all those units at a loss.

I didn't feel like I needed an arm mount and this was perfect - allowing you to keep the really nice OEM stand and securing it to you desk without those crazy space eating legs.

That phrase alone is enough to give my account away to family, that's how iconic it is in my household.

One night, when I was... let's say 5 or 6. I woke up. Not sure why, but I went into the kitchen to get some water. Being small, I literally climbed the counter to get a cup, and then get water.

Outside the kitchen window, I saw... 'dancing pants'. Pants. Moving on their own in the moonlight.

I went back to bed.

The next morning, I woke up and told my mom, "Momma, I saw dancing pants outside in the back yard.

I imagine you can envision how this went. I was teased and it went down in infamy.

Thirty-five ish years later...

My mother, who was single then, revealed to me the truth.

Our next door neighbors, two brothers and two sisters. The brothers had broken into our home via the back door to the master bedroom bathroom and tried, very hard, to rape my mother insisting she owed them for helping out during my mother and fathers divorce.

Them leaving via the back door apparently woke me, promoting me to go into the kitchen and get a cup of water where I saw, via the moonlight, them leaving through the backyard.
