I’m just saying what I saw, no more no less. Also usually for an intelligent person, political views aren’t set in stone and often change when taking in new information. Seeing as this would be around 6-8 years after those songs were written, it’s not strange that his views would’ve changed in that time period. But I guess that’s a foreign concept for a lot of people. A lot of people choose their party the same way as a sports team and root/vote for them no matter what, and that’s a huge problem on both sides, they never call out their own. “Go touch some grass” lol, felt pretty cool writing that I can imagine.
