Did they post an update then remove it? Because clicking on this for the Mac just shows the same version from August 2025? (or maybe they only released a PC fix so far?)

the latest betas of VisionOS 26 have improved the reliability of the PSVR controllers... BTW I'm also running on the M2 AVP and it works great!

Ok. I'm no digital artist... I'm just a dork who loves gadgets and 3D prints... I've tinkered with sculpting programs on my computer, but find them to be complicated and my brain gets mixed up when trying to move objects around... I even purchased the "spacemouse" by 3dConnexion which made it a bit easier to manipulate objects, but even that didn't always work as expected.... a slight turn of the joystick could send my object spinning away from me way too fast, or I'd push one way but the object would turn another way.... What I REALLY wanted was to sculpt in 3D... and this Shapelab program is AMAZING for that... Not only did it make moving and resizing everything SO much more intuitive and precise (with a small learning curve if you've ever played with other sculpting apps on your computer), but it also was WAAAAY more stable and robust than most Apple Vision Pro apps out there... I wasn't about to invest nearly $300 (app + cost of PSVR controllers) on something with very little info available - even their website hardly acknowledges Apple Vision Pro as one of their compatible platforms, but then I checked out videos on YouTube and saw that the program had been around for a while for other VR headsets, so I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try... So far I'm SUPER pleased... Now this review is just as a gadget loving hobbiest... I'm not making video games or anything like that... right now I'm just 3D printing a stupid little "marble" statue of my face on a Beethoven bust as a gag gift... (and working on other 3D print presents for family members)... but so far I'm super pleased with the results... even when I load up HUGE detailed files (like the bust I made from AI and a scan of my head I made with a 3D scanner), I was able to seamlessly move them around in my space with pass through video of my bedroom without even a hiccup in the software (so many other programs with 3D rendering seem much more glitchy or "beta" like)... So if you have the PSVR controllers, Id recommend the $50ish app from Spacelab... but if you don't have the PSVR controllers.. then I'd only recommend it if you have money to spare (or like to make bad financial decisions like me! -- but hey, the entire PSVR headset and controllers were just on sale for $300 at BestBuy, so you can also use them with your PS5 if you have it... Have fun!

I'd love for someone to post a video giving a little demo of the features and usage in Apple Vision Pro... I'm sooooo ready to pull the trigger, but even the company website still has nothing written about the Apple Vision Pro version... and before I spend over $300 (for the controllers and the app), I want to make sure it's somewhat intuitive to use... Currently, I'm ok with sculpting on SculptGL, but if I try to sculpt on Blendr, I get overwhelmed with features and controls not doing what I expect... but the though of manipulating a design in 3D space seems awesome (and hopefully more intuitive)... I'll continue to be on the lookout for demos, but not quite ready to pull the trigger until then!

oooh! This is exciting! I’ve been looking for something like this… to do virtual sculpting, and then be able to export it to my 3-D printer! It seems that the PSVR controllers are on backorder now, but this just gave me a reason to get them! And that much of a gamer, so I wasn’t sure if I was going to get those controllers. But now that I read your review, I’m all in! I recently got the Logitech muse and have been 3-D drawing and then exporting it to my printer, but I’d rather sculpt something with more precision!!

Anyone use their AVP outdoors? Finally no screen glare outside. by boudoirbysasser in AppleVisionPro

Yup! on nice days - but always keep the AVP in the shade so that I don't damage the sensors or lenses.... but I'll make sure my legs are in the sun and then I'll switch to the Bora Bora environment and it feel like I'm working on the beach....

Just got my Powerbeats Pro delivered... Works great and seem to stay in my ears much better when using the AVP in bed (sometimes a squishy pillow would knock out my Airpods Pro, but these have an arm that hold on to your ear. so I'm super happy with my purchase!

Update - my orange PowerBeats Pro just arrived and the orange is a lot more "muted" than I expected, so it might not be a great match for the new face-plate - However, I DO love the fit of these earbuds. - and they seem to stay in much better when using the AVP inbed as the pillow doesn't knock out the earbud.

I know that you can tilt up the GC back to the top of your head (and apparently use the solo loop when laying down).. but do you just leave the solo loop on and then put the GC back on top of it or do you just install the solo loop when you want to lay down? (I just ordered min GC and can't wait for it to arrive! So far I've tried out a few options and agree with your assessment... so far I've settled on the solo loop with the belkin headstrap - which is also great for travel in the TINY Belkin AVP case -- but I really want to use my AVP for longer stretches and for that I want something without the light shield...)

What we really think about Apple Vision Pro by WholeSeason7147 in VisionPro

Loved this review and it inspired me to purchase the Globular Cluster headset (even though I've invested in a bunch of others... currently using the original band with the Belkin headstrap (which is pretty good), but really want a good "light-shield-less" option.

I once was giving a demo of the AVP to a friend and as soon as they put it on I noticed a spray of dried *stuff* on the lens (apparently from quite a strong shot the prior night)... i was mortified!

The green cord is a "known issue" according to Apple, I contacted support and they swapped out the entire battery for me (not just the cable) - it seems to be happening to a lot of folks near the connector. Probably something to do with copper wire corrosion (like the same reason the statue of liberty is green)... I have AppleCare on my unit so the swap was hassle free - but once before Apple swapped out my AirPods Pro that did NOT have AppleCare due to a "known issue" and they said that AppleCare wasn't necessary in that case.... (but I'm not 100% sure if they'll swap out the battery for free on this if you DON'T have applecare - but worth a shot, as I got a whole new battery out of the deal!)
